  1. Hi I don´t know this costume well, but I do know, that any style of a Sith hilt is acceptable as it says in the CRL - with a red blade But do take a look at others here on the forum, perhaps you can get some inspiration from their WIP.
  2. Hi and welcome The CRL is here on the 501st. page : http://databank.501st.com/databank/Costuming:SL_SWTOR-Sith_Acolyte So yes, we still accept it in the Legion
  3. Hi I´m no expert on this costume, but I think, that you look awesome x my fingers for you
  4. Great work and eye for the details - this will help others a lot, if they want to make this costume. Thanks
  5. I absolutely love your work and eye for details

    Darth Traya

Very nice - congrats on your approval
  7. Hi This is how mine was done, it´s formed out of leather - though I would recommand a snap closure in the back for easier putting it on. You have to make it wet and then shape it over a couple of days to get the right form.
  8. Hi Welcome good choice on the costume. You can use any fabric - but do remember, that since it has many layers, that the fabric needs to be breathable - I used a heavy jersey fabric. As Kracker98 already wrote - there are many ways to make the shape for the headpiece - do take a look on this page to see, how others have done theirs. Good luck with your build and I´ll look forward to see your WIP
  9. Hi I would like to regain access as both a 501st member and a detachment member + costume mentor status. http://www.501st.com/members/displaymemberdetails.php?userID=15534
  10. I think, that you´ve done a great job - the veil can be a real pain, but I´m sure, that you´ll get it right
  11. Very nice progress Is the dress gathered at the shoulders to create the pleated look too ? it´s a bit hard to see in your pic. - it´s pleated really nicely from the belt down.
  12. Very nice progress and good to see, that you´re almost done
  13. Hi Erin Good to see you in here too... The gem on my head piece is a normal plastic gem - but you can use, what ever you want, as long as it looks right - and my head piece was also done with a wet form. Looking forward to see more of your build. Cheers
  14. Very nice work - your templates looks great
  15. Super - just take your time and don´t rush it I draw the pattern on the backside of the golden fabric, used a very sharp knife to cut it out and then I glued it onto the dress sleves and the veil. As you can see on my profil pic, it get´s a nice shine and clean/even pattern. I couldn´t get the golden paint to work for me - don´t know, what I did wrong, so it was actually my mum´s idea to use the golden fabric instead - and it worked perfectly, though it took some time to draw and cut. But it is also easy to replace, if/when it get´s to "used" or get damaged.
  16. Hi welcome back Nice to see, that you haven´t given up on this - it looks good. Perhaps you could take some more pics ? It´s hard to see the details on the one, that you´ve put up. I used a golden fabric for the pattern on the veil and sleeves ( I did the other version of her ) and glued it on. Much easier and it gives it a more even look all around. Keep it up
  17. You look awesome - big congrats on the approval
  18. Hi Good to hear, that you haven´t given up on this. I found a note about the sleeves ribs in another build - it should be about 1 inch apart all the way around. Do put your pics in photobucket or something similar for you WIP and put the link in here - we always enjoy seeing pics
  19. Congrats ! It´s a beautiful costume
  20. Great work - well, one Sith is all it takes, right
  21. Depending on your garrison rules, most sabers can do as long as it´s with a red blade and not Vaders or other well-known hilts... I got mine custome made for my Visas Mare / Darth Traya - and my friend bought his from a store for the NIhilus...
