There are a few vendors, but I´m not sure, how many of those still makes items for the Visas Marr. The patterns for the inner- and outerdress are to work with and you can find the patterns for the golden pattern and the pinwheels for the outerdress in some of the WIP threads. Most of us have done our costumes mostly or all by ourselves

No sadly on the outerdress you´ll need to paint it directly on - but if you use the stencil, which is in one of the WIP´s, it´s no so difficuelt.

You´re on the right track here, and if you put the closure on - it will pull the headpiece closer, so you wont have the bulk on top. And I would cut the form a bit more by the chin, so you don´t get it to sit as far in the front... I think, that you´re ready for the leather - just remember, wet, shape, dry, wet, shape, dry, as many times as you need to get it shaped... it´s a hard work...

You did it The only thing, that just caught my eye, are your sleeves on the outerdress - I would shorten them a bit in an angle. Otherwise you look great ! good work on both versions and good luck on the approvals...

Tips on making the headpiece - It can be a real pain, but if the mock up doesn´t work for you, then you need to move on and use leather. You can buy a cheap piece of leather to try with first, you need to make it wet and reshape it over several days, before it gets the right form. It is a long term project, but so worth it in the end Try and take a look at some of the WIP´s in here to see others process

You can make the belt yourself - it´s not that hard. I made the belt for one of our garrisons members - I took two black leatherstraps, one about 5 cm wide and one around 1,2-1,5 cm wide + 8 "gun screws" ? don´t know, what they are calle and some velcro to make a closure in the back. Hi Good to see that you´re still working on the costume. Regarding the gloves, no I wouldn´t buy those - They are just ugly... sorry to say that... Hi sorry for having missed this one I wouldn´t use any of those fabrics on your picture - I used a heavy jersey fabric, others use raw silk to get the right flow in the fabric. You need to remember, that this costume is made out of several layers, and you need something that is breathable but yet looks right - try and take a look at the other WIP threads in here and see, how others looks like.

You can use photobucket or dropbox and then put a link up in here instead, sorry for not writing that before. Your sleeves looks a bit big, they could be more form fitted - but I don´t think, that it will be a problem. I don´t like the knot in front, it´s placed to high and is twisted to much, a more elegant and simple knot, that are placed a bit lower will work better and give your hood/cape some more volume. With the leather belt, some shorten in the front of the outer skirt and the knot redone - I would say, you´re good to go

Hi From a first look, it looks okay - but it´s hard to say, with only 1 picture from the front. Like Tiedoll wrote, your skirt got twisted - that can be fixed easily. If you could take more pics from all 4 sides, it would be easier to give you some advice

That sounds strange - you can´t make the weathering black on black fabric - you need to take this to the LGML and get our DL Thomas on this.

But that´s just life... http://www.theflagshipeclipse.com/forums/index.php?/topic/2187-fs-darth-traya-costume/ As to your questions: You can use almost any dress pattern for a straight down one and give the front and back some more cm to it, so you can create the folds. As to wigs - your link doesn´t work - but any silver one I guess. I found one on the net, just remember that with both the wimple, wig and headpiece, the wig shall not be to thick due to the heat. The saber looks fine - though not all correct, but since we don´t need to get it approved with the costume, you should be fine. As to the head bands, yes it is correct that they shall change in size from the top to the buttom. For the belt I´ve got velcro, since the closure needs to be "hidden" in the back. I found it was the best way, I got mine custom made. I´m looking forward to seeing your progress
