  2. Hi from Spain.

Have you looked in the research section? http://www.theflagshipeclipse.com/forums/index.php?/topic/1868-doctor-aphra/& A nylon with one of the many different versions of the tattoo painted on it is the most used method.
  3. COTF Work in Progress

Raw black silk is in hand. Just need to wait until hood arrives (in transit) and seamstress is ready to go. Will probably be mid-March before seamstress is available to work. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk

  5. Hi from Spain.

Of course, sorry. I'm working in the Red Vest A, it's my favourite. I don't know how to do the fake sleeve. I'm looking for a solution, but I can't find anything in this forum.
  6. Sharad Hett

He was a Jedi, but since he's a Tusken I guess that'll give enough of an argument to be duel. But I wouldn't be surprised if he's deemed RL only.
  7. Sharad Hett

Sharad Hett was a goody two shoes Jedi, I don't see where he would fit into our world, but also welcome the debate.
  8. Sharad Hett

Howdy howdy!! Hmmmm. I know we take him in the rebel legion! http://newsite.rebellegion.com/sharad-hett-tusken/ Is there any good debate for having him in the ranks? I'm always down for dual legion but he doesn't seem like to much of a bad guy. Give me the debate!
  9. Is there any chance Legends former Jedi Sharad Hett, father of A’Sharad, will join the ranks of Legends Denizens? *He led Tusken Raiders attacking moisture farmers. *Left the Jedi Order (still light side but so are the Imperial knights) *Red Saber (I know it meant something different in Legends)

  13. Exiled Thrawn

Lol...I just got the image of Thrawn coming in to "Shaft"

  15. Exiled Thrawn

funtasma also makes what they call a "pimp shoe" that looks a lot like this to me as well. I find it fun to think that Thrawn might wear pimp shoes.
  16. Exiled Thrawn

Yeah, the more I look at it, the more it needs pockets. lol I've got a pair of khakis from an old job. I think I can cut them off and have enough materiel to make the pockets. I was also thinkging about getting a tan flight suit and cutting it up. I'm going to have to do some tuskan level weathering either way. I was looking at these boots: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Bruno-Marc-Mens-Stone-02-Faux-Fur-Lining-Chelsea-Boots/272909793325?var=572098511724&hash=item3f8ab0f82d:g:ttsAAOSw3fZZ-O2w https://www.amazon.com/Bruno-Urban-06-Suede-Leather-Chukka/dp/B06XTWFB11/ref=redir_mobile_desktop?_encoding=UTF8&dpID=41i6b8V5MqL&dpPl=1&keywords=tan ankle boots mens&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_QL65&qid=1519325999&ref=plSrch&ref_=mp_s_a_1_3&sr=8-3 Thanks. In good lighting, yes. The darker it gets the harder it is, but the light is shinning across the eye rather than into it. So it's not too bad even then.

That second panel looks to me like it also has the pockets. At least there is a cargo pocket shaped bulge to the silhouette. That eye glow is an awesome effect by the way. Can you see with that going? As to the boots, those look like some pretty standard while chelsea boots to me. You can find them with while soles and with the elastic covered, but this is a cheap pair.
  18. COTF Work in Progress

Gloves look great, very similar to the ones I use.
  19. COTF Work in Progress

I will have the material on Friday, or the very latest of the weekend. The seamstress will be starting work on all the soft parts end of March. Gloves arrived today. They are a couple of millimeters smaller than I would have preferred, but will still work very nicely. The sheepskin is very soft and comfortable.
  20. Nihilus COTF WIP

Thank you, I'm very excited to finally get this costume together. Fingers crossed I'll be taking submission photos this Tuesday.
  21. Nihilus COTF WIP

Welcome, I look forward to seeing your progress.
  22. Exiled Thrawn

For all curious parties why Jeremy is posting this WIP here: He started it on the IOC boards and the General Consensus (salutes the general) was that since this version of Thrawn is before he's an officer this costume wouldn't be part of the IOC, he'd be a DZ. So Flagship seemed like the more natural home for him over Krayt Clan or the new Underworld.
  23. Exiled Thrawn

Oh, and makeup tests thus far. The first pic is just a proof of concept..No contacts just fiber optics. Cause who doesn't want glowing eyes.
  24. Exiled Thrawn

Hello all! So currently I'm working on GA Thrawn and a version of him in olive drab. With the new comic coming out, I figure as long as I'm painting myself blue I'll go all out. So I've got screen caps from the comic i'll post up, and what I've been playing with on the makeup. I think I've got most of it figures out, just 2 big questions. 1. On the cover his pants have big cargo pockets...none on any inside panels, though. 2. What kind of boots are those? Thoughts? Thanks all, Jeremy
  25. Nihilus COTF WIP

Hello other Eclipse members! I'm not in enough detachments (HA!) so I'm finally going to make Nihilus happen for me. I've been wanting to be this Sith for a long time. Recently I acquired a costume from another legion member. It needs the outer skirt modified to match the CRL (no front slit), and it needs the quilted sleeves. Also the mask needs a bit of work to match the COTF CRL more. Material to make the sleeves have been purchased, and a black full body suit. So I'm ready to make this happen! Any and all tips are greatly appreciated! Thank you! THE Bobby Linn DZ/IC/ID/IG/TI/TR-13525

Thank you Nina, I appreciate it
  27. Starkiller Dark Lord Armor (Hoth)

Well that is a good side by side comparison to talk about. Keep in mind, I find the vest the hardest part of this costume to get correct, and I made 5 or 6 versions of the vest myself, till I got the look down to the correct look. Compare the size of the top strip. In the middle it starts off double the width of the 2nd strip. Then it quickly reduces in size as it goes down the body, and becomes rather skinny. The front peak is very high, and the sides are quite low. So there is a great and dramatic change in the size of the vest as it goes down the body. Having everything stay the same proportions as it goes down the body will not achieve the correct look.
  28. Greetings, https://www.501st.com/members/displaymember.php?userID=24134&costumeID=97 Haven't been on in forever, but I'm starting a "Wild-man Thrawn" from the new comic. Denizens seemed appropriate. I'd appreciate it if you could switch my status to active. Thanks! Jeremy
