Wow, I don't know how I missed the updates here and I solidify for the late reply. As already stated, the KOTOR ll and COTF masks are different. Order the one you need by talking to the manufacturer directly. I hope you got the pieces you needed and look forward to your update.

I was also approved with the whole kit from Wicked Armor, though I did ask him to make sure all the lines and ovals on my mask matched the CRL. He made changes to his mold, based on my request, and I believe his COTF mask can pass out of the box now.

That would be cool...but is there an approved CRL for that one? If not, and approval is your goal, you should consider a different build based on an approved CRL.

Fantastic. It's good to know that even without a finalized CRL, a build like this can be approved. It really proves that leadership is more interested in great costuming than the "letter of the law." Makes me proud to be a member here. And....your work is exquisite.

The Wicked Armor COTF can be approved with some mods, which is what I did. I thought I saw@DarthCephalus get approved with a KOTOR II so I'm tagging him for comment. You might want to start a Work in a progress thread so people can comment officially. Looking forward to seeing what you put together!

Also, you are using a black cloth face mask. The CRL no longer allows that. You need the plastic black mask (if you don't already have one.)

@Cadet , also, it would be rare (if ever) to get approved on first submission. It can take months of back and forth to make sure the accuracy and consistency are in place. Personally, I'm not aware of any costumes that are approvable out of the box with the possible single exception being Boba Fett from BobaMaker ($8,400 USD and 36 month waiting period). You have all the pieces, now have some fun and enjoy the approval journey. It's worth it, we all go through it, and it can be an exciting time as you build a super accurate and custom fitted suit. I'm looking forward to seeing your final photos!

Thanks Heavy. You're always helpful. My COTF needed corrections too, though not as extensively. I had asked WA to make mods for me per CRL and it made everything go more smoothly.

@DarthCephalus should know, so I've tagged him. He just received approval on his KOTOR. I got approved for Darth Nihilus COTF, so it's a little different.

Oh, ok. They look really good though. My Wicked Armor COTF Nihilus was approved in a day. I was really impressed. Their construction and fabrics are very high quality. More importantly, they were willing to make small customizations to meet the CRL, like the 2 ovals on top of the mask (vs the 3 he normally casts), which meant I didn't have to "fix" anything. It seems they (WA) are consistently producing high quality, as yours looks fabulous. Can a Nihilus COTF and Nihilus KOTOR troop together? LOL. If so, we'll have to do that sometime...or meet up at a convention so I can by you a soda.

Love that fabric you're using for the cape and tunic and skirt. Is this taken in a mirror? The tunics need to go left over right.
