UNDER TUNIC This is the best ref we have of the UNDERTUNIC I affixed velcro to the inside of the doublet on the front. Do not affix any closure on the front of the skirting.

SLEEVES Step 1 Find the perfect material. It should be a soft but weighted fabric that is not see though. It should be a cotton. Purchase 4 yards Step 2 Make a template NOT PLEATED -Make sure its tight on your arm with 1 inch seam allowance on right and left hand side Step 3 Get out your Iron its time to Start the Pleats On the ORIGINAL there are 37 pleates HOWEVER i think the important point is that they are almost 1 inch wide: SCALE THEM TO YOUR BODY OR THE PLEATS WILL BE TO CLOSE TOGETHER Notes: The pleats are uneven. they range between 7/10 and 1.4 inch. Approx every 60 inches of material will make 15 pleats Step 4 Apply fabric fusion to the insides of the ironed pleates so they wont fall away Step 5 Sew both outter edges of pleats with inner lining Step 6 Sew small edge of trim to both edges Step 7 affix zipper to inside and sew into edges. Carefully get it as close as you can so the edges dont pop open

I gain about 15-20 lbs when I put this costume on there is so much material used To build we must first Break. So lets break it down to build it up... piece by piece... Bottom Layer: Sleeves What we Know: The sleeves are cotton then coated, they look like a ton of dots and you cant visually see the weave very well. (Donegal Weave Cotton) What we don't know:The shirt is yet to be known what it looks like, or if its even there. Details: You will need approx 5 yards of material to complete these sleeves, You will need to hand pleat the sleeves to make the correct look. You will need to add a band of trim and a hidden zipper to the sleeves as Adam is zippered into these sleeves. The cotton sleeves are pleated all the way up the arm in a slightly uneven fashion. Pants What we Know: They are a Coated Denim What we don't know: NONE Details: Faded Glory Coated Jeggings in Black are one of the most screen accurate pants you can buy at this time (11-2015) Boots What we Know: The theme is "4" 4 straps, 4 buckles, 4 lines, 4 back edges What we don't know: How they attach Details: They are very detailed and unlike any other boot they heave featured. They have pleats running down the sides, yes...more pleats Gloves What we Know: Leather with really cool details on it What we dont know: how high the gloves are Details: Second Layer: Pleated Tunic What we Know: Its got pleats at the chest area all the way down to the knees (front and maybe back) What we don't know: n/a Details: This pleated tunic is EVIL. Its the hardest portion you will make. (ok maybe the sleeves) it needs to be form fitted, it needs to have a ton of pleats. I used 6 yards of material for this portion. The cotton is the same as the sleeves. It's open in the front It has piping down the sides but not around the bottom) Third Layer Wool Coat What we know: its wool and its long, it has a military collar. What we don't know: how the chest buckles (the closure) Forth Layer Surcoat What we Know: We know MOST about this piece. we can see it. we know how it looks and reacts to light. Its a black cotton basket weave. Its had a poly coated treatment done to the costume after it was made. Its got bulk and weight but still the weave is see through. There is a 1.5 to 2 inch seam at the bottom of the surcoat. Its belled in the back as it flows out more so than the front. There is a zipper on the right hand side of the costume under the armpit and ends at the waist What we don't know: n/a Details: There is no seam at the top of the costume. *the shoulder* the customers chest should look like an upside down triangle Fifth Later: Scarf and hood What we Know: Same material as the Surcoat What we don't know: n/a Details: There is a piece of foam at the top of the inside of the hood. You can see a sewing line around the hood and it goes up the back but doesnt end at the front. The cape will take 2-3 yards of material and wraps from your right shoulder around the back and then drapes off the back right shoulder sixth Layer: Belt What we Know: The belt looks Resin casted, its got really neat designs in it, The belt itself is leather. It's got a lightsaber clip on the right side back just past the side. What we don't know: n/a Details: You can see the velcro holding the front of the buckle in place. The Lightsaber clip is placed directly behind the seam on the costumers right hand side seventh Layer Helmet What we Know: Its Resin and its 6 layers deep. What we dont know: n/a Details: Resin cast and painted with a chrome on the top of the skeleton face and painted with a darker silver on the rest. The entire thing is beat up. its also different from the right and the left hand side. Back has a couple of sizable dents. Costumer should use a balaclava and a mesh across the eyes

As with the paintings. I think its 3 straps which is two at the top? Yes i cant seem to tell if its 2 or 3 or even if evenly spaced *shrugs* I hate how the guy didnt even Photoshop the top of the hood, he just left it all detailed. As much as I dislike this image... I think its actually a very Amateur (though Cannon LFL).. there's to much detail in useless areas.. and not enough in important ones. which just screams FILTERS! I really dislike this picture.. in the image above i think its a "remake" of the image bottom right. I think that the image (was) real and they had Adam stand in the exact pose. The leg is different from the concept image on the right and the hood is just slightly off from the right bottom image. Just like how the stormtroopers are copy pasted... over and over again... I think these images are the best thing we have and they are canon LFL images.

Good luck on your build! Should be pretty straightforward creation wise. What an interesting costume! Did some color pulls in Photoshop! the color will be intesting in contrast to the purple. Id def go with a heavy linen type material. something with bulk but not as heavy as Blanket wool

"Build my Revan chest armor." I invite you to make a work in progress thread. I would like to see you and the rest of your items I may be able to assist you in drafting a pattern based on my darth Revan armor details. I'd just need you to make a few measurements. If you do not want to do that I can always draft a pattern (basic one) and just tell you what to buy from there. Don't lose hope good sir.

Wool flows so nicely on this costume. You look fantastic. Also between them taking beatings during troops and such they can always use upgrades...wanted or..not

Yes hood wise on my dark apprentice I went with a linen and I went one sides not Lined.I found that going two layers added to much bulk! Also yes Sintra is so fun! Play with it and have fun

Boot wise I think I'll get some flak for my home made junkers I turned in with my Kylo Ren submission. But frankly any knee high stiff-ish looking boot with three home made straps will do the trick they are super basic boots and under the costume.

I am not a huge sound person. I find it expensive...and just not something that raises the bar enough IMHO. I even troop most often without the blades in mine. Kids always ask if my saber is real when the blades aren't in. Its super cute I find that 90% of the troops are during the day time and it's too loud and to Bright to see or hear anything!

Ill tell you a secret. The CRL is only second to the Reference, some may argue with me on that however on the 501 builds ive completed that had CRLS I used reference and showed proof as to why I was making the changes I was. Youll be ok!

Its looking fantastic! My one concern would be in the material you used in the belly area. While I 100% understand that this material is from a game and conforms outside of the constraints of real life. The particular pleather you have chosen gives very little "give" if you try and move around a lot in it your going to wrinkle it very quickly. They are not quite adhering to your natural form quite as nice as something of a softer pleather would. You can also see on the sides of his body the leather thins out a lot on the sides. It gives him body shape and form so he has a lot of movement. I hope that made any sense. The metal looks fantastic to!

You look fantatsic! I notice a bit of caking on your face and the black looks to be trying to blend into your white I hope the following helps you! I Highly reccomend investing in some Ben Mye Makeup (I do Amidala) I purchased the clown facepaint by ben nye, i coat it on my face then I add Ben Nyes "Neutral Set" Powder. The stuff is AMAZING. your white wont get on your costume and it wont blend into the color you add above it. Then I would get some small makeup brushes and apply the black makeup with Theatrical Cake (stack) makeup. (or Ben Nye thats fine to) I own both Itll give you a nice even coat, you wont have any bumps or blemishes! You can start small with it (i did) but i quickly started buying in bulk as I do amidala almost every other weekend. The baby shampoo is to remove the makeup (trust me invest in the real stuff!!) Pain free removal You look great and makeup is a process which takes finese and time and I have learned so much over the two years ive been applying it for my Amidala

I LOVE this costume. That cape is going to be a lot of fun to do! As stated above yes it would be best to try and get under that cape. I was very fortunate when I did my SWTOR costume that he didn't have a cape, however with any costume your going to have a concern somewhere. Try and get some slight angles in the back. You should be able to get in there. This costume would look really neat in Sintra at the top. The four plates appear to be metallic so using a Sintra I think might yield the best results (then painted metalic). The Belt buckle would be another Key piece. I would look into sculpting and resin casting that. Would look lovely! Also in the second image youve posted what it looks like piece by piece (which is cool for reference) However I reccomend making the piece as one whole outfit (like a long Jedi Tunic). I cant wait to see your progress!

Let me start by saying I love this costume! I think your best material would be a Linen or a cotton weave on that red. Something nice and tight weave with a very vibrant color I think would be best. Poly materials tend to really be nice and vibrant however you'd want to avoid a lot of poly as they are shiny sometimes. You could always just wander your local fabric store as you never know what might turn up. For the armor itself I Highly recommend Sintra for this job. I advise a 2-3mm thick board of it. As you state you are newer to this I find it best to use as Sintra is VERY forgiving. All you need is a heat gun and Sintra and your good to go. Please check some tutorials (generic ones) on youtube first. Good news is that Sintra is very easy to find at almost any plastics store. For the color of metal I highly recommend Chrome Bumper paint. Its hard to find at your local home depot per say but very easy to locate online at places like Amazon I just bought some for my Kylo Ren mask and I LOVE it! I hope this helps can't wait to see your progress. When I set out to do a legion 1st as you are I take just as much time disecting and planning as I do sewing. This beautiful costume will be no different. we are here to help!
