  1. No problem! We look forward to having you join the Detachment
  2. Also, here's the link to his visual references for when you need it. http://www.theflagshipeclipse.com/forums/index.php?/gallery/category/34-starkiller-dark-lords-armor-hoth/
  3. Here is a good place to check/ask, as the people who have built him would be the best to reply! http://www.theflagshipeclipse.com/forums/index.php?/forum/118-starkiller/ Hope it helps, Nina
  4. We generally don't host movie characters, but you are more than welcome to start a build thread here! He may go the way of other movie types who don't fall into the other detachments and go into the, "Unaffiliated" detachment section.
  5. It seems like a crosshatch woven effect to me. That, or a crush velvet with the directional pattern, which would fit better for a royal individual.
  6. Advised yes, but specifically square toe not required. The strap and correct coloring will be, but those are easy additions.
  7. Try hosting the images on imgur.com as photoshop requires you pay now. As stated before, if you have references for a version that you want to do, then go for it! P.s. I love the dedication to the research aspect! That sort of passion is exactly what this detachment is built on.
  8. The rig is not approvable, but the strap can be added afterwards.
  9. I agree with Pam's mask! The proportions match much nicer to the reference.
  10. If you are going for a COTF, the skeletal structure is what you want. If you are going for KOTOR II, you'll want as little structural shape as possible.
  11. If a solid piece isn't feasible, a set where they do not overlap should still work.
  12. I have rings that I use for mine. I believe they are smooth key rings that conceal the split part but allow me to detach the hood while still having accurate looking rings.
  13. It should be proportional to you, but the average size is ~5" diameter.
  14. If you can make the leather rigid and not look like leather (the game file and screenshot references very clearly show a metallic effect that porous leather fights against), then there shouldn't be an issue.
  15. I would advise doing a solid piece instead of the overlapping pieces as that standard for the CRL is changing VERY soon. The clamshell pieces are not accurate.
  16. Mine is formed Worbla that is backed with fiberglass strips and resin, I just built a body mold and then built the plastic parts onto that.
  17. Need photos of the entire bracers, top, bottom, and sides, to say if they will work or not. The bracers do not have that ridge. If you need, you can add additional support on the inside of the bracers.
  18. Do you have a 360 degree reference of it? The image provided look good aside from that ridge on the part of the bracers that sits against the upper forearms.
  19. Yeah, I used the larger chain store cans for the antique brass and antique gold, and a small can of model master copper for the misting.
  20. You won't be able to match his because he uses multiple different colors. For mine, I used a black primer with a combination of antique gold, brass, and a light spritz of copper to give it the multi-metallic finish that it has.
  21. Not a no no, just encouraged to look for a more square toe type.
  22. For now, technically the answer is yes. I would advise, though, that you seek a more square-toed option.
