  1. People chose to get the Butcher, but it is not technically approvable for the 501st version of Revan that is available since it was after the time that the CRL is based on and is a different costume set. It is used in the Black Series figure as well, but that would need to be its own costume CRL to apply (really wish someone would submit with it!). Same thing for the Shadow of Revan version from SWTOR.
  2. I'd need to see pictures to tell. (yes, me and my pictures )
  3. It doesn't match the CRL and is not approvable, but we've already talked to your GMLs to avoid the confusion for any future applicants.
  4. This is the bane of my existence for most characters in here, lol. Good luck and looking forward to photos of your progress!
  5. My costume is packed and behind several walls of boxes while I reorganize my house and garage, but I will try to get one as soon as I can.
  6. These are great fan creations but no, it is not approvable. The rivets, back straps, hood, and mask all do not meet references.
  7. I used sticky velcro on the mask about an inch above the brow, and sewing velcro on the seam of the inside of the hood.
  8. @Flashheart could give some pointers!
  9. I have photos of mine in the WIP http://www.theflagshipeclipse.com/forums/index.php?/topic/1739-darth-revan-upgrade-wip/
  10. I think I only used about 4 or so inches worth of a pleather bolt.
  11. Looking fantastic so far. Adraas happens to be my favorite style of the Acolytes.
  12. Those should be fine with the harness removed :).
  13. I used gorilla glue and just scuffed the two surfaces up a bit for the strap. For the ring straps, I went and got some black pleather from Joann Fabrics. I'm trying to think back to the MWA hood and just remember making sure to pull the flaps so they are tucked behind the armor to make the enclosed hood look. Also, make sure you have a piece of velcro stuck to the forehead of the mask and the other piece sewn into the hood so that it stays down and doesn't pull upwards.
  14. Welcome! Here is the forum for Concept Asajj. http://www.theflagshipeclipse.com/forums/index.php?/forum/379-asajj-ventress-concept/
  15. Are you a 501st member? You'll need to put your TKID and your 501st.com/members/searchform.php profile link (the page that shows your individual information, not the results page) into your profile and then post here. Then you can be upgraded to the correct rank. For now, you're put as a basic forum member.
  16. If you could get some high res scans or photos of them, that would be great!
  17. 501st approval requires the eyes and mouth not be part of the mask, as they must be your own eyes showing and your mouth that can move freely. If you were able to cut around the lips and eyes and attach, it cold work but no guarantee.
  18. Since it sits lower than where your foot would naturally bend, an epoxy should be plenty to hold them down. I scuffed the leather on mine slightly before applying and they haven't come off in 3 years.
  19. Still working that program out. Getting CRLs up to snuff took priority, but keep an eye out for next year!
