  1. Looks good, was this costume ever accepted? I am just wondering as you do not have Detachment Membership status for your profile here?
  2. I was going to go through the whole data base and manually fix each one my self, but then we are talking about hours and hours of work for me, verifying that the Garrison shown, is correct. Instead can everyone just take a look at their own profile, and make sure that their Garrison shown is correct? Due to some error, most peoples Garrison is off by 1 choice on the selection list. You just need to go into your own profile and select the correct Garrison, and save your changes. Thanks, Management
  3. I will let the CRL team know you are interested in helping. They will contact you in the future if they need a particular picture of something from your costume. Thank you for your offer to help.
  4. I had the same problem, with a different costume, due to my calves. My solution was taking the boots to a shoe repair shop and having them build in a wedge extension on the inside wall of the boot.
  5. Yeah much easier for an artist to draw, than for us to make it a wearable reality lol
  6. That is a lot of tattoos each troop or do you have shirt and pants made with the tats already finished? Yeah seeing pics of the whole costume would be cool to see.
  7. Congrats mate, maybe I will see you on a troop, are you going to Legoland in June?
  8. Well in the same way that you can use heat to stretch leather you mean? I have stretched leather with heat, never tried it with PVC. Other option, take the boots to a shoe repair shop and have them sew in a triangle shaped extension, I have done this with Fake leather boots, worked quite well, extension is added to the inside wall of the boot, not really visible to anyone looking at you.
  9. Which Starkiller Costume? Might want to hit up all the "Starkiller Training Gear (TIE Factory)" as they are really the only ones where the "head" is visible. You might want to send them PMs, as current activity on TFE is rather spotty at best, and the "Heads" you are looking for may not see this for quite some time.
  10. KC forums have been down for days now to a "Recovering from a Security Breech" message. Maybe our "Web Guru" wants to double check that all our virtual doors and windows are locked ! lol
  11. I am the correct size for my starkiller, a few inches too tall for my Malakili, and about 2 feet too tall for my Jawa, no one pays that close of attention for size to matter. Do they know what your costume is? A lot probably wont, or they will ask you if you are a yellow Maul lol. Play the part, be your character, if you really want to they do make things that will add 3 inches to your height, but I wouldn't bother.
  12. Never mind then, I already read that whole thread, it never said on what grounds it got approved. I Figured IK fans would have known the answer. Ill stop posting in this thread.
  13. Maybe you are misunderstanding my question. I am not looking to discredit the IK costume, I am just curious what made it acceptable in the 501st?
  14. OK, and that was my point. What makes them qualified to be in the 501st (Bad guys doing good)? At the time they fought for the Emperor, they were neutral, so not 501st types. Then they fought against the sith, also not 501st types. So what qualifies them to be in the 501st, if they are neutral and anti-Sith? I don't see how they are "bad", and the 501st is made up of the "bad".
  15. If you would have read the entire thread, I did not use a red visor. I also challenged the CRL on that point and many others, but nothing ever came of all my work and suggestions to improve the CRL. The Visor is tinted dark, not red! The CRL is wrong on that point. The CRL is also missing about 40% of this costume.
  16. I had a question. I though Imperial Knights were neutral? What limited info I have read about them said they were more or less neutral and rejected the dark side and fought against the dark side. So how can they be in the 501st, if they fought against sith? Just curious?
  17. For the head, why does the CRL say: Rigid Collodion (Scarring Liquid) is applied to the back of the head and both cheeks. Why Both cheeks? As far as I know Malgus only has scaring on the left cheek.
  18. I think the mask (yes I watched the video) is way too wrinkled, if you compare it to pics of Malgus he only has a wrinkled forehead and bulging veins on his forehead. That mask is wrinkled every where, whereas the sides of malgus's face are some what smooth (besides the burned area on the left side of his face). Just my opinion, as I am also interested in making this costume in 2018, and since I shave my head anyway, I will be going more the route of makeup rather than mask. If the mask builder could smooth out the face more, I think it would look more like Malgus.
  19. The person who posted them 6 years ago, is no longer a member, so good luck with that!
  20. Ahh I figured it was you, I have seen these same posts on your FB lol.
  21. The GG has or had at least 1 member with that costume, have you tried to contact them? At Least then it would be easier, as you could speak your native language then! http://www.501st.com/members/displaymember.php?userID=2929&costumeID=276 http://www.501st.com/members/displaymember.php?userID=12328&costumeID=276
  22. Check out my Build post, page 3 somewhere in the middle, to see my helmet: http://www.theflagshipeclipse.com/forums/index.php?/topic/1918-starkiller-dark-lords-armor-hoth/page-3 Looks good, I would add the yellow weathered pin stripes you can see on mine, to give it more details.
