  1. Well done Brother.. now do us proud and get trooping
  2. Maybe if you speak to the sabersmiths in the FX saber forum you will find some one willing to work for your budget http://www.fx-sabers.com/forum/
  3. You need the full power of the dark side !!! power!! Passion!! emotion !!! I can last all day and mine is 100% wool. but drink loads of water the more you use it the more you get used to it. and yes TK are easier than Revan.. people in my garrison didnt believe me till they carried my kit in the hanger. all is made of 100% uposltery wool so its very very heavy. the set from MWA is loads lighter
  4. If you are going to apply for 501st clearance. make sure that all your items comply with the 501st CRL http://www.501st.com/databank/Costuming:SL_revan the mask for Kotor revan is and must be Kotor Revan Mask and not SWTOR
  5. have a look at my site http://alanmolina.co.uk/projects/revan there are loads of images there
  6. I agree . Hope we can work towards allowing this costumes be part of the 501st but it will be a long road .. one we must travel together
  7. it is heavy but to be honest its not that hot in there
  8. dude I have always been amazed by your work !! awesome totally awesome
  9. very nice sabers. what make are they?
  10. weathering should be done the same way it would in real life oil / dirt / sweat/ etc trust me you will never be able to wash your gear so get ready to use fabreeze for the wraps you should use linen
  11. Awesome!! looking forward to see the progress of your IK
  12. Hi Mate I will recommend you to work on the different widts of the belts .. they are all of different sizes and they are not black but more of a brown chesnut color also they have metal details that you have to costume make . The wraps and loin cloth are also of a darker shade of material and they need to be heavy weathered here are a few images of mine for reference you can also check out my site for more images if you would like to see other angles of mine http://www.alanmolina.co.uk/projects/stakiller by all means im not saying you have to copy what i have done .. but you can get an idea .. always copy the 3d render of the game and not the images of the CRL or other costumes made by other people
  13. Looking forward to see your backplate mate.. share some images once you start making it. Also in my opinion always make sure your pleats are well ironed makes the costume look better when you can see defined lines n the material and it doesnt look like its been at the bottom of the washing basket before a troop
  14. Yes mate .. Looking forward to see some magic on the making
  15. Glad to have you here commander hope you can share some of the knowledge you have gained in all those cycles
  16. Awesome Paint job !! Love the weathering ... cant wait to see it finished
  17. Impressive must impressive whats your FB page?
  18. As a LCJ for the Rebel Legion we have come to the conclusion in the Rebel Legion that SWTOR Revan Mask is completely different to the mask you see in KOTOR If you see the pattern of the mask colors are completely different.. kotor Mask SWTOR mask Revan Novel Mask so in the RL the two mask accepted as RL members are SWTOR mask and the Novel Mask. and making KOTOR mask the only not acceoted in the Legion does this means the 501st wont accept the other mask ? ofcourse not thats up to the LMO and the 501st do you see Revan being a sith using the other two masks? no you dont ... not yet so will the mask from SWTOR be a canon sith mask ? well its a matter of opinions but in mine is not that mask is used when Revan is no longer a sith or a jedi .. he is better he is Revan but Brendon is 100% correct .. in his first post . the only thing that will stop you from wearing that mask in a troop is your on garrison .. so speak to them see what they think
  19. Wow 10 hours to paint one tabard that is dedication !!! looks amazing
  20. ok this is my improved hood and cowl the material wraps around my shoulders and under the chestplate .. and it velcros together this way you have the perfect cowl from the original 3d render of the game soemthing MWA is missing once its velcro together this keeps the hood from losing that shape. also the weight of the material makes it wrap arounf my head making it look more menace and avoiding been moved by wind when trooping outside
  21. Welcome to the dark side mate glad to see you in this forum
