  1. For the fabric, you want a heavy fabric with a smooth surface texture. It leaves a lot open to options there, but so long as you can get the drape and smoothness in the matching colors to the references, whatever should work. For the hilt, anything from KOTOR or the official references for Revan will work. You can find examples in the gallery for him here: http://www.theflagshipeclipse.com/forums/index.php?/gallery/category/27-darth-revan-kotor/
  2. To make things sound even more confusing than they already are, the CRL is in the process of being modified and will state more detailed requirements for the boots. For now, they aren't *not* usable, but if possible, you should look for a boot with a more squared toe. The color can be changed, and the strap can be added, but the shape of the boot isn't a modifiable thing.
  3. Yeah, not quite sure why there is something about not using jedi armor, as aside from the Wolverine claws, I see little difference.
  4. Just keep in mind that as you are building it, the original design by Chris Avellone that was drawn by Dustin Weaver was very, very flat against the face. There are not even cheek features outside of the rounding to match the face (bone structure is specific to COTF Nihilus). Here's the screenshot showing what I mean:
  5. Is this for the chest area fabric? From what I see in the references, wider looks like a better choice.
  6. It is difficult to base it off what you have, but at the point you are at, it seems like it would be a nice flush mask as it should be for KOTOR II style. I would have to see more details to say for sure, but I suppose you could take it as a good start with cleaned up edges.
  7. I do not aim to be the best there is, merely the best Me there is.

  8. No, there are many other differences between the two even though the basic idea is the same, including the shredded cape details. Same basic costume voir different details enough to warrant different versions. It's why we have 3 different Aphra CRLs for the same character.
  9. If you check out the gallery and go to the Revan references, there are shots of the boot through the split skirt that show a solid piece boot with strap, but no armor edges. If you wanted to do the armor, you would need to do the Black Series version, which then means you would need to do the ENTIRE costume as the Black Series version and then submit for a New to Legion costume with your GML as it is different enough from the standard KOTOR Revan to be the same costume.
  10. The CRL is being updated currently and will launch within the next few weeks, but the boots for KOTOR do not have armor. It is specifically shown as a boot with a strap. The new Black Series of Revan does have the ability to say that it is armor vs boot, but it would be a different costume and would need to be submitted with as Black Series version.
  11. Photobucket is no longer showing your pictures.

  13. Congrats! Have you thought of using the velcro, one on each shoulder point, to keep it in place?
  14. I don't usually talk when I'm in Revan since he's canonically a guy and I'm well, not I don't really see a need for one given that he never had anything that referenced him using a form of voice modification in KOTOR. Is it just to counter the muffling from the mask and such?

  17. It was added afterwards and attached 3/4 of the way around the front with a velcro strip on the back to close it while still being able to fit through the neck.
