Visas saber

I just finished this saber for my fiancée's Visas Marr costume. She likes the style of the prequel sabers with their polished emitters and matte bodies so I tried incorporate those elements into the design. The saber was machined in aluminum then the main body was bead-blasted to give it that matte finish. It was then given a clear powder coat for protection. There currently is a Seoul P4

LED in the saber which puts out around 260 lumens of red light making the blade bright even during the day.

Well, I'm REALLY jealous now!

 

That is an absolutely beautiful saber hilt. It is wonderfully true to the reference images, and I like that you enhanced the depth of the lines at the emitter area just enough to really make them stand out. It adds a lot to the overall design.
