  1. The rings look very thin in comparison (world be the 2" OD and 1.75" ID side).

Without seeing it on to compare, I can't tell on the fabric ribbed areas, but you will want to weather them with a silver dry brush to get the mottled effect they need to be.

The armor itself looks good from what I can tell!

Hello! Nadja (Dz 76300) from Sweden here.

I am a member of Swedish Garrison, buy only since august.

Currently having a Jawa, and now I am looking to build a Darth Traya.

I joined the 501st since I of course love star wars, but also love all about the great work we all so.

Started out as a support about two years, bur now a proud member.

    Welcome! Here's the Traya section!

  3. Just a reminder to everyone that it is 501st Census time until the end of the month! This is a mandatory aspect of being a member to stay active. It is fairly easy!

    1. Go to 501st.com/forum and log in
    2. Go to 501st.com/holocron/member/legacy and log in. (You need to be logged into the 501st forums first or this won't work)
    3. Click, "Census".
    4. Double check your information is accurate.
*If you see your TFE showing as inactive, it means you haven't logged into the forum in the last 365 days. Log in and it will turn back to active on the next server sync.
**If you do not have TFE associated with your account but you have an approved TFE costume, follow the directions here: https://www.theflagshipeclipse.com/forums/index.php?/topic/2673-important-please-read-detachment-membership-information/
***If you have requested 501st DB approval for TFE and it is still pending or no longer exists, you need to register on the TFE forums first and then reapply. We only approve requests on the 501st DB that have existing accounts on TFE forums with your TKID correctly placed in your profile. I check the DB requests weekly, so don't worry if it isn't approved right away.
    5. Once all that is cleared, type your last troop info and hit submit!

  4. Honestly, if it is a slit with elastic, I am not going to complain. She is a comic character, so there is a tiny bit of leniency that I would allot to stuff like that for a better fit so long as it does not take away from the rest of the boot. Now, things like additional straps, buckles, or other decorations, I would steer away from.

Hello! I'm from Utah, looking to be part of the 501st Alpine Garrison starting with a Revan kit. I'm joining the 501st because I love Star Wars, and being able to help out others while being part of something I love sounds like a win-win situation.

I'm still getting a feel for the forums. Is there a specific place I can post for guidance with building Revan?

Apologies for delay, I've been swamped with a week-long troop that ended this Saturday. You'll want to post here:

  6. You are correct on the butcher hilt. It is not from KOTOR, and therefore, is not approvable or wearable with the KOTOR armor that the 501st has approved. That isn't to say that if someone wanted to do a version of Revan with it that it wouldn't be approvable, it just wouldn't be interchangeable.

Also yes, MyWickedArmor is still the best readily available armor from a vendor you can find, though you will need to change out the ring strings to straps.

  7. So, I am currently talking with the maker to see what can be done on an accuracy standpoint. I just want to reiterate that any sales or merchant-related issues an not be handled by the Detachment and must be between the buyers and the maker.

  8. Without actually seeing it on a person's head, it is hard to determine what the proportionality is. One being approved in, unfortunately, not much to go on as there are so many approved helmets  and masks across the Legion that, in fact, should not be.

  9. I'm trying to search for any that I find in my free time to see if it will help. Though, admittedly the concept of, "free time" right now as I am going through test week, work deadlines, medical stuff, and a week-long Fiesta troop planning are a bit scarce.

If I come by any that work well with the lower heel I will post here!
