Starting Grand Inquisitor V2 - A build journey by Emperors Reach

Hey gang, I'm looking to start the Grand Inquisitor version 2. But I have no idea where to start? Is there a maker for the armor or is it all 3d printed? I found a maker for the helmet but wasn't sure if it was a good model, or needed a bunch of work.

Honestly, any pointers on this one would be great. I haven't been this lost on a costume starting point in a while!

please specify which version of the inquisitor you’re referring to, Rebels or Tales of the empire? 
 

either way I don’t think there’s any makers for his armor since he’s not a very common costume. Though there might be makers willing to help 3d print a armor set for you.

 

The inquisitor is a bit tricky in that sense that you have to have almost everything made custom, since there’s not many makers or options on the market. 
 

I’d recommend checking out all the build threads here on the forum

 

and feel free to write any specific questions you might have here and I’ll try my best to help you.

Apologies for the delay, I didn't see a notification for this response. I'm going for the Rebels version, the pilot version with the helmet.

I went ahead and bought the helmet from the maker I mentioned previously, I'll see if I can get it printed soon and give the other build threads here a look.

I'm finally gearing up to get the helmet printed soon. Are you able to recommend a maker for the armor possibly?

For the armor, I ordered some basic STL files of his armor from a shop on Etsy and then edited them to better match the details and function I wanted. Then I printed them myself, which has been quite a feat. I've gone through 4 sets of armor so far trying to get everything looking and fitting as well as possible. 

 

Another option I saw on Etsy was the foam patterns for his armor, which would allow you to make the armor yourself out of EVA foam or something similar.
