  1. Katherine has given you some great suggestions, you will do well in following them. You're getting really close, just two notes: 1. The Robe is a "jedi" styled robe as opposed to the cape the other AV versions tend to use so it needs to have sleeves. 2. I think the belt may be passable for the Armoured Ventress, will need to double check on the references to see if it ever had one like this. Please provide the reference if you have some to consider. Focus your efforts on the other points Katherine notes. Some informal troops might work OK (so long as you clear it with the event coordinator) to not necessarily have the bald cap so long as the hood is secure, but you'd still need the tattoos on the checks at very least. For you submission photos you will want to have the hood down like in the artwork, showing the complete makeup and bald cap (or shaved head etc). If you need a template for the tattoos you are welcome to print and use ours, available here
  2. Looking great, best of luck with the finishing details.
  3. Sounds good. LadyB has a zip in back, but after trying other things we used a different material. Best of luck with it.
  4. Congratulations, excellent build.
  5. Fun stuff, great pictures. Thanks for sharing
  6. Some good advice from Pam. The images aren't showing, as they're not a direct link to the picture (http://www.site.com/file-name.jpg), and it looks like you'd need to be logged in to see the thread they're in. Best of luck with the costumes, some fun EU characters in your list. http://mercs.firespray.net/forum/index. ... 8161;image
  7. Because there is a good front and back reference of this costume it should be OK within updated LMO policies. You would want to make an excellent representation of it, probably draft a CRL and document your decisions based on references.
  8. Sounds great David, just some small details and that will make all the difference. Excited to troop with you.
  9. Welcome David, glad to have you here. lets see if this will work:
  10. Have some light gray sintra now and making the shins and other armour parts. (fingers crossed).
  11. As far as the red goes, what we've picked up is called Burgundy Crushed TAF #7558505 from JoAnnes. It was in the area with the fabrics on the larger rolls. LadyB might be able to do the Jammies for you if interested.
  12. Looking good, nice to see your progress. Be sure and not forget the smaller silver O-Rings on either side of the belt. #7. http://www.501st.com/crl/SL_CRL/SL109_A ... dex109.php
  13. The fine folks at the Rebel Legion concur. The costume has been approved. http://www.forum.rebellegion.com/forum/costume.php?mode=view&c=4829&bu=%2Fbase.php%3Fb%3D92%26i%3D1%26s%3Dc&bl=Takodana+Base+costumes
  14. Alright, We got her put together, photographed, and submitted. When she gets back I want to try some things with the battle damage, but for now this is what we have: And thankfully she was still able to smile after all of it
  15. Guilty as charged, though admittedly not nearly as fun as any of Brita's costumes. I'm having fun getting the designs together for the RL Trading Card that Brita and Liz are doing. The shoot was a bit tricky but I think we have some good stuff to work with.

The eBay seller that I got LadyB's from doesn't seem to have the same style anymore but does have these: that are close, but have a lot more silver on them and the white stitches that I'd remove if you went that route. Good luck with it. http://cgi.ebay.com/BLACK-FUZZY-TRIM-TH ... 3a573fa24c
  17. The Hasbro FX Sabers do look really nice. I'd like to see how they connect. One word of caution. If they are similarly proportioned to the FX Dooku, which I have, they are a little thick around, and may be large, especially in smaller hands. This is a photo of my resin saber, that I believe is the movie scale, and the Hasbro FX one. Elyon the costume is developing well. Good luck with final refinements to get it 501st approved.
  18. Submit them to Pam as noted in the first post here: Photo submission thread (viewable by detachment members only): http://www.theflagshipeclipse.com/forum ... php?t=1380 ____________________________________ Brita and I have wondered about that as well, is it working?
  19. The images look great, thanks to the detachment staff for their work on this.
  20. Happy to announce that a certain EU SL has successfully infiltrated
