  1. Why not just get a stunt Revan saber from Nocturne Armory? It's probably in the same price range. I got one from him but with the sound option. Here's the actual saber: Here's my unboxing video:
  2. Congrats on the approval! Can you share where you ordered the headpiece? TIA
  3. Hi guys any help here? If you can take photos of the straps that would be great!
  4. Looks like there are Revan items we can reuse for this character!
  5. Hey guys, can you send post pictures of how you did the straps for the chest armor, pauldrons, and gaunts? TIA
  6. I did not black out so first troop was a success just some major fogging for the first few minutes and then it was OK. Sweat buckets though so the rehydrate recommendation is spot on.
  7. This was my first troop as a Sith lord. Too many wardrobe malfunction to count but the kids had fun and so did the kids that attended the event Here's a short video I made of our Star Wars Reads event in Manila: https://vimeo.com/108754897 Photos:
  8. The run is a go! Thanks everyone for supporting. There's still 2 days left before they stop accepting orders. This is your last chance to get on the run. http://www.teespring.com/revan
  9. Good progress! Have you thought about the strapping system for the armor pieces?
  10. TBH we were shock at the price set by Teespring. We wanted to keep it below $25. It's probably a combination of the shirt quality, print area, and colors. We will really try to keep the next round of designs below $25 maybe even aiming for below $20. UP - 5 slots remaining!
  11. Run has started! http://teespring.com/revan
  12. Would you guys be interested in a Revan shirt run? Still finalizing the design.. so if you have any suggestions please send them over
  13. Thanks everyone! Will be going as Darth Revan for next month's Star Wars Reads Day celebration. Hope I don't die from heat exhaustion
  14. Happy to report that I'm now a SL! http://www.501st.com/members/displaymem ... tumeID=105 Just waiting on my Revan saber from Nocturne Armory to arrive. Here she is:
  15. Can you take a photo of the mask for reference? Thanks Krazach!
  16. I think I need to get used to having a mask so close to my face. The TK helmet just sorta floats on top my head so breathing isn't that big an issue.
  17. I know environment is a big factor but assume you were inside a convention hall where climate is controlled, how long can you last in the full suit with mask on? I tried it on to get some photos for approval done and I did not expect to have such a hard time with the mask, balaclava, and the hood. I can troop for hours in my TK (did 4+ hours straight) but I can't imagine lasting an hour in the Revan suit. Any tips on making it more bearable?
  18. Thanks bro. Best you contact Robert directly at info@wickedarmor.com. Highly recommended!
  19. Got this from Robert over at MyWickedArmor.com Pics: Album here: http://imgur.com/a/p3lE4#0
  20. Sorry to resurrect this thread but does anyone have photos of a finished Sith acolyte robe from mystikmerchant? Any reviews on this seller?
  21. With Rebels just around the corner, I wonder if anyone out there's working on the costume pieces (armor, mask, saber, soft parts). Seems like a nice costume for C3PO owners looking to make the jump to a 501st approvable costume that fits their body. Here are a few reference photos that I started compiling as soon as they came out in case somebody out there is also interested in bringing this costume to life. Album: http://imgur.com/a/JGYrP#0
  22. If you applied for approval today, I think it would be disapproved because the CRL specifically mentions it as a "mask".
  23. Honestly can't say for sure, even after zooming it. But there seems to be a difference in color/tone where the mask area and where the skin/head would be, which tells me it's a mask (but someone can argue it's actually the helmet design so yeah still can't be sure)
  24. Hey! I'm getting my MWA next week. Did you get the standard or the deluxe one? Re: the boots, I already have the jack boots for my TI so I think I will be using it initially but I don't know, those boots just don't feel "SL-ish". I'm thinking about getting the Funtasma boot by Pleaser so I can use them for a future Jedi-related costume project. What are you getting?
