Hello everyone!

 

I completed my Mara a while ago but on returning from Dragon*Con this year my harness got broken so whilst I'm repairing that I thought I would update some other pieces.

 

And as I have a largish tattoo on my forearm that is difficult and time consuming to cover I have decided to add the wrist wraps.

 

So my question is what would you recommend for the material/ wrist wraps ?

 

Any suggestions ?

I used something really high tech for the wraps: the legs from a pair of heavy black tights! By using a tube of fabric there were fewer fabric edges to finish (only the feet and top were cut), and the material was stretchy so it flexed around the shape of my arm very well.

Hi Pam, that is a really good idea as at the moment you can get 100 denier tights for £4.00, I think I will give that a go.
