It's a rough start, but it's coming together!

Inner tunic, inner skirt, outer skirt, belt and Obi.

I have the leather gloves, that need to have the flair reduced and black boots.

Also have my updated mask to fit the COTF version.

Outer tunic, hood and cape left.

Of course weathering/trimming.

Question so far.. for weathering/damage.. can the ends be burned/scorched in appearance? Or is only cutting a rough edge acceptable?

Very nice work, almost there ;-)

Yes, you can use burns as weathering, but do try on a piece of scrap fabric first, as to see how the fabric reacts and how fast the fire will be, so you can control it.

Otherwise I made some small and a bit larger holes with a scissor and then used a metal brush (thanks to my longhaired cat) to get the frayed look on them.

Wonderful! Thank you!

Looking forward to getting my outer tunic cut out and sewn together today, and quite possibly my sleeves.

Inner and outer tunic so far.

My limited sewing skills are.. limited. But I like it. My biggest concern is the baggy parts under the arms.. what do you guys think?

How does it look so far?

Looking good, though it is not easy to tell, when I don´t have seen it on you.  Depending on the width of your shoulders, I would suspect that you need to redo the armhole, so that you don't have so much fabric hanging under the arms.  As the tunic is now, the shoulders will hang out and down the arms, which they shouldn´t.

You can use your innertunic as a guide, the tunics should more or less be almost the same, just make sure, that you can sew the sleeves onto the innertunic without it showing from the outside, the outertunic therefor do need to be a little bit longer at the armhole, but not much.

I´ve tried to illustrate it, red innertunic, yellow outertunic

Rough put together of my mask and hood!

After a lot on fandazzling, my attempts to make a molded hood had failed, and out of desperation, cut and bent a coat hanger... and it seemed to work so effortlessly lol.

One learns to get creative in this hobby ;-) if it doesn´t hold, you can take a look at Pams page regarding the support hood that she offers ?  just do a search on Darth Nihilus Hood – P&S Costume Creations.

Here is my first complete atire test run.

*The cape needs to be shortened, of course, and is only connected to the mask with sewing clips!

*the fabric is all rough cuts right now, it will be shortened and properly tattered once everything fits well.

*fabric behind mask may change layers.

How is it looking so far? Thoughts? Opinions?

Hi

You need to pull the hood more forward, it sits to far behind on top of your head,  and I am a bit concerned that the catears are a bit to pointy looking.

The knot in the front will need to be lowered a bit, as it should sit at your upper sternum.

Skirts, cape and tunics, as you also state, needs to be shorten as per the CRL - but so far great work on it, you´re almost there ;-)
