My Darth Nihilus: Updated : 10/11/09

This was my second event with my Darth Nihilus costume. After years of a wearing armor it's nice to take a break and being able to sit down when taking breather.

 

Everyone loved this costume.

 

I have a couple modifications I wanna do the the horns but not to much.

 

 

Wore my Darth Revan for a little bit as well.

What is cool is that when you look at the action figure the boots are almost alike.

 

 

 

 

 

Now I've seen posts about Nihilus's horns and his odd shaped head. But really the odd shape head is the huge locks of dreads.

And, a job well done on your upgrades. They made a huge difference!

 

 

Since we all know that a costume is never finished, my recomendation for further upgrades would be to add more fabric to the skirts. More folds in the fabric makes it look more flowing and battle-ready, and less like the flat, form-fitting fabric of a hobble skirt.

My wife and I were at the Renaissance Festival this weekend and I found these beautiful black cowhide gloves for Nihilus. I managed to get a great deal too.
