New Darth Nihilus from Gold Coast Australia

Hey all!

 

Just wanted to post up some piccies of my Darth Nihilus! I got the bulk of it from MWA and I gotta say that guy is amazing! Trying to get it approved before Gold Coast Supanova! *Fingers crossed* I know there are a few little bits and pieces that need tinkering with! So enjoy and offer up anything that can help me

Looking good! Just a couple things to point out, for the KOTOR version you will need some sort of under armour or padding on the chest. Also be mindful the cloak should go over the shoulders, and not hang down. I'm guessing it's the wind, but in some of your shots the cloak is hanging mid-way down your upper arm. Might want to just pin it up in place if it keeps sliding down your arm.

Ahhh ty ty! Yeh I went to a 501st armor party and they said about the chest armor / vest. Had an idea of using that robe as the under skirt and then make a 1 piece to go over as the outer tunic and robes so I can make a really pronounced gathered effect. Thoughts on that?

That would work, and the more gathered fabric you have, the better your Nihilus will look. He has a lot of fabric folds in his costume, so it is good to try and match it. My outer skirting is 5 meters long so that I have a lot of gathering in my robes.
