  1. Popping in, because I too have this dream!! I would love to do this costume as well. Did you get any feedback on getting this added to the CRL?
  2. I worked on the shirt today. I have the front, back, and sides done. I’ll work on the sleeves and finish the bottom once it’s all done. for the optional horizontal lines, how have folks done these? Stitching or paint? Thanks! https://www.flickr.com/photos/200230557@N05/shares/5196gzMjgD
  3. Hi folks! I wanted to start a build thread and get some feedback on some items. The concept CRL is interesting as it allows leeway on several aspects (belt, collar, optional lines on the shirt) but I don't want to go too far afield with the options that are not shown in the CRL Hopefully I am putting this in the right place. Belt-does anyone have any approved references images for the belt having the lower skinny belts crossed in the front and back? The CRL shows 2 belts; one on the costumer and one on it's own. The one on its own looks like the crossed in an x pattern style, but I was wondering if anyone had an image of this on a person or if keeping to the action figure model as shown on the reference pics on the forum make sense. Shirt- horizontal lines- if I add horizontal lines to the light grey portion of the shirt, can they be stitched lines (same color as the fabric), folded-over layers to create the horizontal pattern, or should they be painted on? Collar- for the concentric rings- should these be created with overlapping layers, with a solid material in concentric circles under the material, stitching lines in the material, or another way? Does anyone have any approved costume references I can take a look at? I am having a tough time seeing the collar / neck seal details in the CRL Here are some images of collars I have made. Are either of these on the right track? Thank you! Concentric rings under the material: Overlapped leather (might benefit from some edging if this is on the right track)
  4. Hello everyone! I am from south central PA (near Gettysburg) and am a new cadet with Garrison Carida. I just started working on a Ventress Concept build. https://databank.501st.com/databank/Costuming:Ventress_concept I’ve been poking around at all the amazing information and help here and am excited to be part of the forums now. Wow. So many incredible costumes! I’ll post some pictures of my progress and about a million questions lol
