    Revan Time

Not right now but there is some velcrow to keep the peak at the top. MY sister was helping me with the second and i had just put the mask and hood back on and the Velcro slid off and the shoulder part went off... I might do the wire part JUST so i can see more!!! the cloth tends to drape down into my eyes.

(roped my non geek sister into it first shoots were blury and second i had to put the mask back on and the cape got messed up and she didnt tell me... FUN! ) What ya think? (on side not bracers need to get bigger to small!! lol ug
  4. I'm still looking around. Works kept me pretty busy this week so I'm making slow progress, if I can't find a good one I'll just find the time to sew the line into the top of mine. Yea thats what im thinking i might have to do. A small line of black wouldn't be to hard.... (Famous last words!!!)
  5. sorry for the late reply. I got the Delux and am still awaiting a reply. He said it was half done a week ago but i messaged him again to check sizes and no reply for 5 days... lol Still planning to use the boots from the gunner as i cant find a more perfect pair of boots.
  6. The shirt is made of black fabric with long sleeves. A horizontal line of black piping is sewn across the chest, and is visible just above the chest armor. The shirt collar is worn in a high, form-fitting style similar to a Mandarin collar. Anyone got any lines on this shirt?
  7. Keep up the good work! Have you worked out the T-shirt yet? With the line on it?
  8. Quick intro. Just put the downpayment on the MWA revan few weeks ago and wanted to possible get BETTER boots. I currently plant to use my Imperial Gunner boots/crew/tie boots. But those boots are A heavy B not very easy on the feet. I got to ask this question because all the pictures and links of the other topics are dead or missing. But does anyone have a reasonable priced and good looking boot source. Yes i have read the "Boots - a List of Potentials" thread as mentioned above the image links are down for me. I'm not looking for some expensive cool looking boots but practical for standing for a long time without a jell insert and low costing (college student low). So in short has anyone had any luck finding the golden egg of boots? (last boot post was awhile ago!! someone might of found something!!!)
  9. Got the email last night during a troop! that saber is $325+shipping (OUCH out of budget)
  10. Yup and from what ive seen this is pretty dang close. The other one i was told or read about is below. so compairing the two. The one i posted about in the topic is a few levels closer. Still waiting on the inquiry on price (as no price is listed and you have to contact them to find out!!) I like the ultra as i am a college student. So cheaper is better but if its close enough. Might be worth it. But for people also looking i thought i might update people!
  11. Looks great! Seeing as im attempting to do something similar. I was wondering were you got the cardboard tutorial from. From what i read above it might of been from this or another forum? Do you mind posting the link. Second The capette looks awsome. Any advice on how to do that?
  12. As i research my revan. I found this. http://www.nocturnearmory.com/moviesabers2.html Im trying to find price now. But aparently like ultrasaber they can come with and without sound card. But the hilt is still wrong. Idk if anyone found anything closer but from what i seen this is way better than the liberatorv3.
  13. Hello. Im IG - 28140. I new to the 501st (month ish) And had a blast researching and getting everything together. Right now i want to make an SL and when i played SWTOR Darth Revan was cool. So i decided not to quit and keep trucking along but this time taking a little more time on my costume! My first question is as to the definition of Rigid. Does this require plastic? (Def is unmoving cant be bent) The reason i ask this is for the chest armor. While the gauntlets can be made out of PVC pipe (similar to a BH). So my question is, are their any advice anyone has to get started on this. I'm not a professional seamstress (male edition). But i can sew cloth together and am getting into prop making. So i figured this would be a fun project. From my research it appears that a lot of people have asked for patterns but none were out there. I read that people use seamstress and was wondering if anyone had any advice as to whom to go to. ( i do not really know how to get a local one to work on this as i have never done something like that before.) So i did some research as to already done cloth such as Cosplay Sky. (I have had some experience from this site as on time but they would not moving the patches (for IG, IC ,TI ®) and i had to. Which was not that big of a problem and i had to switch out the patch. But has anyone had any experience with them and this costume. but i did notice some problems with it such as costume is a little short to the feet, and That the chest armor part is leather in nature and not rigid. (might be able to get this Wicked armor i read about for revan. (http://cosplaysky.com/star-wars-darth-r ... 7Aod6SQAwQ) (link above is a premade that is leather instead of plastic. )
