Good day flagship membership. I have recently submitted an application to validate Dagan gera within our ranks and sadily it was rejected. The main concern is that while Dagan is evil he is still in opposition to not only cal kestis but also to the galactic empire and that doesn’t validate a spot for him within flagship eclipse. Fear not, as Dagan gera (flashback) is still a valid costume within our sister clubs of rebel legion, dark empire and saber guild. I hope this thread serves as a full explaination, for our current and future members who seek to build Dagan for themselves in any capacity. Have a wonderful week

I have an update for you.
upon further research and checking with my garrison gml, yes the neck seal provided by Etsy seller is infact approvable. I have no idea why the neck seal photo in the crl looks the way it does and all of my research team members can’t find anything remotely similar to it. But yeah I think if you submitted with this you should get approved :).

glancing at the Esty seller link and product a thought occurs
from what i can see both the crl acolyte and the Esty seller picture are both different. the crl model has a neck seal between themselves and the outer armor and the seal reaches down behind the back of the torso armor and drapes over the torso,
where as the Esty neck seal appears to smaller and have a black clothed shirt between the seal and torso armor. the etsy one appears to NOT be approvable. (although as mentioned above, people have gotten approved with it, which is totally fine) i would honest reach out to the vender
and see if you could get the length extended so that it drapes over your torso more, similar to the first photo. the general construction looks correct it just needs to be longer in my opinion, but this is just what i am seeing, and i hope it was helpful

No it’s totally understandable I was actually the member who recommended you check the page out. We discuss Baylon and shin a lot and thought there might be some helpful information with your build
but seeing your page and work ( excellent job btw) it looks like you might be ahead of us.

they for sure do and they fit in the palm much better.
its just something i didn't realize. i know many revan's and all of them have both hilts. none of them have 2 saviors

@DarthValkyriaso if understand this correctly then the lightsaber of darth (Revan kotor 1) is a savior red bladed
the darth Revan (kotor 2) is 2 savior hilts 1 red and 1 purple as shown in the CRL.
why are there so many Revan who have the swtor purple Revan reborn hilt with their submissions?
I've seen Revan get approved with both hilts, in saber guild and in the 501st.
were both hilts approvable at one point and was changed or is this something I just didn't catch?

I realized today that I had given incorrect information reguarding the Darth nihilus cotf hilt. I deeply apologize for my blunder. while the page says “kotor 2 hilt” it is in fact the cotf hilt when comparing it to the crl

as far as retying the knot at the front
sadily i haven't had to retie it just yet so i can't speak on how to do it, but we have many darth nihilus in flagship I'm sure someone has had to do it and could advise further.
if you want advice or additional help I'd be happy to help so don't hesitate to ask.

for your gloves i would recommend these from etsy, but please consult the crl before purchasing anything, taking a peak they look to meet criterial.

So my crown is actually more of a headdress, it wraps around my head and is pointed on the corners near the forehead (picture 2) and when i wear it without the mask it sits on my forehead pointing forward with the cape draping over ( picture 3 and 4)
when the mask is wore everything compresses together and creates the full head (picture 5) I got this headdress piece from @Twi'lek Pamwhen she WAS doing runs of them.
Glancing at her website it appears she doesn't do runs anymore but I'm sure if you reach out on her website she might be able to help you in creating one yourself.

Yes. You are correct a case is being prepared but we’re waiting for “ the art of Jedi survivor” to release in order to have more references as currently we don’t have a full 360

as of 2023 while we are getting new characters that will go to our detachment, would these rules of "what constitutes a acceptable reference source" still apply today? or have changes been made?
i ask so that as we get more and more members who want to build costumes they have all the info needed and know our process, thank you.

i also overserve as it should be known that for shin's cloak the fabric appears to be see through, which suggests a lighter material cloak.

i also observed that his torso piece is a mix of various fabrics ( lucasfilm is going to make us work for this one haha) i have a member here in washington who looks just like baylon and he very much wants to build it so im helping do reserach and advising him on what he can do. thank you for starting this thread

I absolutely adore ventress and I'm glad more people want to build her. we have many people with resources that could help, myself included don't hesitate to reach out.
