Hello. I agree however Jacket is already listed as optional. All optionals are listed on the CRL below the required items. Hair length can vary but we are looking at this varients costume only. Which appears to e shoulder lengh in the front and shoulder blade length in the back.

Reference i have for the front of the vest not doing a 45 degree turn. The only one that kinda does this is the one with the seam and quilting. vest that does the turn (but this is a different costume)

Dont be freaked that I literally rampaged your CRL. youve done a great job. Ive written a lot of them. Heres some edits/mods and additions I made to what you have. Please scan and let me know your thoughts, Aviator Cap The aviator cap is light tan in color and made from leather or a leather like material The cap fits snug on the costumer’s head A padded, circular shape sits on either side of the head over the ears with visible stitching around the edge where they connect to the cap The chin strap should have a functional buckle and is worn unbuckled. The strap should hang no lower than the collar bone. Hair Hair is black in color and shaggy. Hair is loose beneath the cap with at least some hair visible on the forehead/over the right eye. Hair is no longer than the shoulder in the front. Hair is shoulder blade length in the back. Shaggy unkempt bangs hang from the front of the aviator cap and arch to the right. Goggles The goggles are round or square in shape The frames of the goggles are a dark red and match the color of the vest The strap should be black or burgundy and is ¾ of an inch wide The goggles should be worn on top of the costumer’s head and above the cap, even with the hairline. Vest The vest should be a dark red (wine or burgundy) in color and made from a medium weight fabric with no visible closures The back of the vest ends at the costumers back arch. (Do you have reference of the vest arching as you say?) The angle change should be about even with the bottom of the split of the shirt. The vest is worn open with an approximately 4 inch gap between the two sides. Shirt The shirt is a light to medium weight natural fiber, The shirt sleeves end at the costumers upper bicep. The collar is popped. Color can be white, off-white, or cream Optional: A long sleeved shirt of the same cut may be substituted(do you have reference for this design?) Tattoo Tattoos (via sleeve, make-up, or otherwise) mimicking Aphra’s circuitry design in black must be on the right arm. These should be an assortment of straight lines which end in circles with a dot in the center The lines and circles are of equal width and be no wider than half a centimeter See Dr. Aphra reference chart for more information (insert link) Gloves Gloves are black, wrist-length, of a leather-like material. Gloves are fingerless and cut off above the finger joint. The top side of the gloves have a rectangular red patch on the back made from similar material to the gloves. Pants The pants should be plain denim and tight-fitting . Color should be either gray or a steel-blue Boots The boots are black with low heels of an inch or less. No buckles or laces are visible. Zippers are permitted on the insides. The boots are knee-high in height Belt and Holster The belt is made from plain, undecorated brown leather and is 2 inches wide. The plain silver buckle is octangular and wide. The buckle sitsflush with the belt and be 3 inches long, the buckle can be up to 1/4 of an inch wider than the belt itself. The holster is made from the same plain brown leather. There is one narrow strap to secure the blaster with a circular, silver snap to attach it. Two brown straps secure the holster to the belt and run to the buckle and the back-center of the belt respectively Optional: Jacket In place of a vest, a long sleeve red jacket may be worn The jacket should be looser fitting and of a similar shade of red to the vest (do you have ref? this is missing a lot of details) DL-44 If present, the blaster should be an exact replica of a DL-44 hair length ref i have Is this the red jacket you speak of? Also this image shows the seamlines i was referring to in my original post Back of Vest Ref

hello hello! Chiming in to take a look!! Sorry If this seems like I am nitpicking anything i make observations. Cap: In the original image you posted the seam lines on your aviator cap are wrong. There should only be two predominant lines at the top of the head, yours has 4. Tattoos.= there is a large gap between the shirt and the tattoos (you mentioned this). Do you have reference that these tats match hers? I am having a hard time lining up the details. The arm designs in your detailing doesnt have enough lines. holster: the strap should hang down father on your leg. i can hardly see the second strap. Hair: Your hair is to long in the front. missing bangs. it should be no longer than the collar bone in the front and no longer than the shoulder blades in the back.
  5. Hold this spot for relevant info and side by sides if needed.
  6. ***Hold this spot for CRL **
  7. Its for the Dark Apprentice costume and NO other Starkiller head is in any other crl i already went though it and looked. That was the first thing i did :/
  8. Does not have to look like Sam. I mearly need a Male head thats shaven. (buzzcut like him) Not a single one of our current CRLS have a Starkiller. I'm dying here. XD Also yes... im such a fan of Sam He cant loose me when i see him.
  9. Hello! I am in need a "head" for a CRL I just finished. I do not look like Starkiller all all. Is anyone willing to provide me with a picture of themselves clean shaven ( with a starkiller hair cut) front and back? Ill do all the work. ..come on you guys want to be part of a CRL right? Start posting! front and side works great to! as seen here in the Kylo Ren Crl
  10. Good day! Yes. O don't know if you're persay were concerned over the following but I know I've gotten a few questions on hard pieces vs. soft. When I started working to input the CRL into the system we decided that at the end of the day we looked at a lot of people's costumes and they looked very good as hard pieces and the folks who did soft parts of these same pieces tended to look like "cosplay" or even like "Halloween costumes" I hope this does not sound rude it's not meant to be. But at the end of the day the hard stuff looks legit, beatiful and well crafted.
  11. Howdy... Rigid can define leather. Soft leather is floppy and could easily be mistaken and then used. It should just be a material ,(leather, plastic, etc)that's not soft. Hope that helps. As with any launch of a CRL there will be changes. At the end of the day it's two things. 1. It's starwars they do that they want 2. It's a TV show which adds the extra layer of 'hey this doesn't conform to real life things". The CRL in the end is a guide for gmls to judge. It's something to look at. I myself have made many changes in my own designs when making a costume and I simply provided reference. At the end of the day... If there are heavy changes yes that can be addressed at some point and worked on. However the CRL is a guide NOT a "this is how you make this'. It's a basic level of approval... we had a number of talks and deliberations when the CRL was being created and at the end of the day you as the costumer can and should use best discretion. Show your work and why you did what you did and show ref. You'll be OK.
  12. I did not write that CRL but that's something we should look into getting changed if it's not. As I do agree with you. It's probably just an error
  13. I've seen a few of them come and go. What is hard about this costume is that it requires a good basic skill in hard part's and soft. You buildings it yourself or having it commissioned?
  14. Looking great! My recommendation would be to use a thicker leather for the tummy so it stands up better. Well done thus far!
  15. Be very wary of the pep builds, they are super time consuming and make sure they are as close to screen accurate as you can get. you might want to incorperate other things while working with the pep. They can end up kinda choppy if you havent worked with it before!
  16. Incase you didnt know: You do not have to have contacts for any costume in the legion. I refuse to wear them. just food for thought, but yes i know many palpys and anakins and various otehr costumes that use them. I myself own more than one sithlord and i dont wear contacts =D Have a great day!!
  17. hey you guys! Dont want to get into all kinds on semantics as its just unneeded. But yes as stated above the CRL is a bases to go off of not a "This the is the only thing you can do" terms like rigid or stiff are up to someones individual interpretation. Do i think that SS looks good in a cloth like material? personally we are people making Starwars costumes and Starwars is something that's set in a reality apart from ours so making an interpretation of something based in a non reality world can sometimes be problematic. its specifically called a "Breast plate" that by definiation should have some rigidity. As a person who works with many types of plastic and resin let me tell you this is extremely easy to do if you make it right from resin that is slightly bendable. I myself have done it with multiple breast plates for people. Brestplates are by design "armor" meant to protect. Cloth or a thin piece of "pleather" to me doesn't scream "breast plate". it also doesnt hold form very well.
  18. This is a hard kit to get ahold of! It looks lovly thus far! Keep up the great work
  19. Hello! You can basically 'cheap out" on the boots as you never see them.. gmls do not tend to ask for photos. I have a friend who is 5'6 and he successfully wears 6 inch risers and no one notices cause the skirts are so full
  20. My friend who just finished said the armor is so hard to find.... apparently most the folks who used to sell it seem to have stopped or the wait times are so long its impossible to fathom waiting that long. I will ask my buddy but i think he got lucky and found his second hand on ebay :/

    Maia's Lumiya build

Great to see you back at this!!! Welcome back
  22. For mine I used a quality cotton (heavy). However ive built another Revan (he brought me material to match his vendor purchased Revan) and that was a Poly based. One of the most important things is that you stick with a good weight material. Natural will always yeild better results as it lays nicer, its not shiny but the cost is a lot higher. its easy to be seduced to the "dark side" by the price of the Poly fabrics.
