Ive seen these Gloves Mentioned as working for some costumes. I just want to verify that they will work for a KOTOR set up before purchasing. By my reading of the CRL "The black gloves reach at least halfway up the forearms" I THINK they will work. according to their site the Gauntlet Cuff goes up about 5-5 1/2" which when i lay that out from my wrist comes JUST to half way up my forearm. thoughts???

Also I'm looking at leather mystics gloves for the Kotor build. Anyone know if those are approvable. Or too short. The CRL says "at least to halfway up the forearm" and according to their measurements that's right where it would end on me. Just would love some input. Especially anyone that has an approved KOTOR build.

Where are people getting the black out masks for Nihilus? I found some online but they almost all say that its impossible to see out of or they are super tight. I know vision will be reduced but I still need to see. preferably amazon where I can use prime shipping

Hey guys, ive been looking for gloves for Nihilus for a bit now, and I found a tutorial on how to make your own gloves (super easy too just going to do a couple cheep fabric mock ups to practice), I happen to have some leather from an old jacket that will work perfectly (nice thickness pre softened) but its a reddish brown. I was wondering if anyone knows how to "re-dye" leather to make it black. I was thinking shoe polish but idk if that will come off everywhere.

Does anyone know how hard Fosshape gets after heating? Think it will support the weight of the Cowl if I make a cowl cap out of it? I have no problem if needed putting a fiberglass layer on it to help it out but I also want to make sure it doesn't deform if I go to SDCC Its a lot easier and a lot cheaper to get where im at than worbla, Sintra might work but I have a limited amount of it that's also going toward my boba fett

this is the single best tutorial I have ever found for fiberglassing. ive been doing it for a while with NO gel coat and then bondoing the heck out of it I didn't know it was possible to even make your own. what kind of quality of finish do you get when using a talc gel coat???????

In the CRL it says the cape is attached with a "gathered seam with large stitches" I'm not familiar with what this means and cant see it clearly in the images.

Hello I'm Bryce, I live in Alaska. I'm working currently on a Boba Fett for the Bounty Hunters Guild and am also researching and preparing for a Darth Nihilus outfit.
