There are two different masks available from MWA now, one for each version. The cheeky skull version is for COTF only, and the flat face is for KOTOR II only, but both are pretty good.

The mask looks too cartoonish, if that makes sense. There should not be an expression to it as it is an emotionless skull, but this mask makes it look like it is smiling.

Just so I am clear on the distinction, the difference between Kreia and Traya was the brown robes and ochre tunic vs the black robes and tunic of Traya, correct?
If so, then I would definitely say it is a grey area because *technically* she was dark side that entire time she presented as Kreia, but it was understood to be light side. I don't remember the specifics of the moment of reveal but the closest comparison I can come up with is how technically Darth Vader is approvable in the, "Anakin" form as he was dark in that attire. If she, "comes out" as dark side while wearing the outfit (again, too long ago to remember) then I would wager support for it being approvable for 501st under the aforementioned Anakin comparison argument. If it is done off-screen or away from an in-person player reveal, then I could argue either way for both eligible and not eligible for approval within the 501st. -

Hey! Look what didn't send notifications! I'm privvy to agree.

The 3D effect of the nose bridge area and the under eyes is a bit concerning, but the rest looks good.

I would say the first pair with the lower soles would be best for this, though I would still give it a bit to look around for a slightly lower heel. That is the only part throwing it off. The treads of the second pair's sole is too exaggerated and the suede would not be able to be matched to the reference.
-
From the words of the costume advisors, that is correct.

By the description of the item in the listing, no, they are not approvable.
-
The mask is correct, there are two versions of the mask that MWA sells for the different versions.
The gloves do not look like letter, or leather-like material.

I had to remove the "pull on" straps. In fairness to the GML, the CRL does state that "there are no visible laces or additional strapping outside of the single strap matching the reference images". No biggie, the cobbler did it for free, he just wanted to keep the leather strips.
That is intended to be when the costume is worn, not the individual boots by themselves.
This is the part of CRLs that I don't enjoy, as they are interpreted differently but every other GML in some cases.

Lighting aside, the separate tunic still stands.

Also the slightly differently colored tunic/tabard thing in the front.

If you're able to get a closer view of the boots, then I wouldn't have an issue of this version being submitted as a New to the Legion if created to the correct proportions to differentiate from KOTOR II. That includes matching seam lines and pattern layout, as well as proper poof of things like the obi, the sleeves above the gloves, the padded gloves, etc.

I'm in the same boat!

This is a great starting off point. I would recommend hard-styling the wig so that it stays better in place. As with normal hair, the shorter it is (like her bangs/fringe) the harder it will be to get it to stay in place when you are wearing it/moving around.

This is Vitiate, yes? Excited to see progress!

They should be able to be directly uploaded, but if not, you can utilize imgur albums and post the link to the album here.

Dry brushing with acrylics is a popular one.
-
The rest of the thread isn't loading for me (thanks crappy wifi) but the top is looking good! I would recommend weathering each strip so it is very obvious of the pattern and layout.

Welcome!
If you could please post here with the info so that we can keep track, we can get it processed.

Until they release more reference for her, she does not qualify for 501st addition.

It is all about making it fit according to your body, which is where the skill comes in hand, and the final outcome goal. You're doing a fantastic job, otherwise, and I am loving the dedication to this build!
