I'm thinking micro corduroy would be best for the jacket/pants, they state that the lining should be the same fabric type as the outer layer but that that cape's lining has a twill look, I personally hate twill has it doesn't wear well, has anyone use micro corduroy in red and black for the pants/jacket, boot lining, cape lining?

What did you end up going with material wise? Closest I've found to capture the ribbed texture look is a ribbed spandex blend that comes in black and red. I have some swatches coming to test it out. I have the basic setup for the jacket, but I just need to swap out the material to make it ribbed.
