Hemby Children's Hospital visit. 4-24-10

Well, it’s April in the Carolinas and that means it’s time for the Carolina Garrison’s first visit to Hemby Children’s Hospital for 2010. The event was on April 24th, 2010 and as usual we had a great turnout of troopers for this event. We even had a visiting trooper as Andrea, ID-4874, from Garrison Carida was in the Carolinas visiting and decided to come out and have some fun with us.

 

The Carolina Garrison got to visit with about 12 kids, taking photos and also passing out R2-KT t-shirts, mini Star Wars comic books, Lego Star Wars Activity Kits, Beanie Babies, temporary tattoos and Carolina Garrison trading cards.

 

This time I went as Master Jedi Plo Koon. Revan and Nihilius stayed home this time. My wife wore her Visas Marr for her second visit to the childrens hospital.

Afterwards the troopers headed to their regular, post hospital visit hang out, a local place called The Philosophers Stone for some good food and good conversation.

 

As this event’s coordinator I would like to thank all the troopers that came out and made this visit a success, you make this a great event every time we do it.

 

So with the Carolina Garrison’s first Hemby visit of 2010 being a success we look forward to our next visit in October.
