This was my first event outside Italy, and I had loads of fun... much more than in Italy, where I have to live with people asking me if I am a pokemon or the like

I was too at the Jedi-Con but only Sunday and we left very early at 17h00 to return to France

We left pretty early on Sunday because we had a 5 hour drive back up North and didn't want to get caught in traffic. Easter is an awful time for that but luckily all was good.

 

I had fun explaining to my non eu- educated husband who all the EU characters were.

I was very relieved when little children recognized my costume so I didn't have to explain it. To say "I'm Darth Vader's secret apprentice" sounds kind of lame when you say it out loud. -.-

well even Marcus knew who you were as he actually played that game but if you don't read the Legacy comics then Darth Krayt will be a bit of a mystery.

 

Yeah we had great seats for the costume show and it was thoroughly enjoyable. I love seeing the costumes on display knowing exactly how much work goes into them.

 

Now we are gearing up for Fedcon and that will also be crazy I think.

The Darth Krayt costume should have won a prize...it was freaking impressive.

 

Live very near to Lübeck, (next to Reinfeld in a tiny 1 street village called Trenthorst) so up north where today it is cold, windy and grey. I am not a native German but my Husband is. I am a Scottish born Canadian.

Totally! Although I'm happy for the Kashyyyk Clone Trooper who won a prize (he's an accquaintance of me) I was a bit disappointed that Lord Krayt didn't get a prize. It's all about screen credibility today. :/
