Here is my completed, finally, Visas Marr.

 

 

Although the template took me about 4-6 hours to cut out and about 3 to spray on the car paint I am happy with the results. The only thing i might play with is my belt. It likes to move around. Then of course, there is the Visas lightsaber.

 

I will post more pictures from the even later.

Love the combo of fabrics and the fit of the gown! STUNNING. I think the cowl around the face might need fitting a bit more so it doesnt gape...perhaps some weights in the hem? otherwise its lovely!

I agree completely. I just got into the costume without the chance to adjust before the photo was taken. Most of the Expo the veil stayed down. I think it also didn't help that my arm was up. But yes, I will put some kind of weight. I can't imagine me being out on a windy day.

I just had the idea of either using a strong magnet on the inside of the pleather and belt...OR those little round, black Velcro dots. that might work. Though with the Velcro I wouldn't want to stick it to the nice pleather...lol.
