Do you think a 501st Validation is possible ?

Whoa, good start. I cry (in shame) when I remember how I started my Starkiller.

For the start: No, I didn't think that the costume would be approved by the 501st. Too many details are missing and many parts must be newly arranged.

Positive:

- The lightsaber looks fantastic!

- You've got the perfect body for Starkiller (he has also a more snake-like body, like a gymnast)

- The chest armor got the right style (but must be more shaped)

- The gauntlet has a good shape.

Negative:

- The chest armor needs to be more ... well, "body fitting"? It should look like it was attached to Starkiller. The thickness is good and also the details but the shape isn't. In the present state it looks like epaulettes. There's too much space between armor and shoulders.

- The hooks and D-rings of the belts on the left side of the body are missing

- The colors of the whole costume are too bright, I think. Starkiller's costume is weathered, it's old, it's dirty and dark. Your costume looks still too new. You should dirt and wash it several times or weather the parts, especially the wraps.

- The wraped boots are looking a little bit strange. Have you glued or attached the wraps to them?

- The gauntlet display is too small and you should remove the visible glue or whatever it is.

- The belts need work; especially the diagonal drapped belt. The lines on both ends of the belt are missing also the covert-tech-clip lookalikes. The other belts are too equal. There are differences between belts 1 to 4

- The t-shirt is too shiny

This picture ist very helpful with many details: http://www.theflagshipeclipse.com/galle ... fullsize=1

Hope, I could help you with some insights (I'm working on Starkiller for nearly a year now). Despite the facts: You did a great job with the matter but the details are the most difficult part on every costume ... tell me about it. :|

Hello there !

Here is some picture of my StarKiller. Finished in Juny 2009 after 2 weeks of intensive work ( from the start moment )

For the details which could distrub you I tried to be perform what was required here :

http://www.theflagshipeclipse.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1086&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=45

And I can show I follow the list to be the most accurate with it. And I KNOW ! I have to evolve the armor. Just need time for that.

looks great. a lot more detail than some of the other Starkiller's i've seen. One thing I would do is try and get the pants a little more darker, as close to the tunic as possible.
