WIP German Revan, looking for feedback

Hi folks,

I'm asking for Timo from Germany. He's currently putting together a Revan costume to be approved by the 501st. As I do the fabric parts of the costume I want to help him getting approved but I see some trouble with his chest armor so far.

What do you think?

Thanks!

I am a little concerned about the location of the top of the Big O-Ring(BOR) being placed fairly high, a very common and usually simple fix. Aiming for 50% or lower on the bottom copper band is a good number, but certainly not below the band either. Adjusting the straps to be a little longer is the easiest way to drop the ring.

The color in the picture appears to be a very brown color, and could use some metallic copper added to it unless the lighting is perhaps off a little.

The "eyes" on the chest piece appear to be incorrectly shaped, needing a point in the bottom middle. That being said I believe I have seen a few costumes passed with the oval rounded bottom on the eyes, so it is something that the GML would have to consider. For a more-accurate representation I would certainly change it. For an approval, I am currently unsure if I would require the change or not. Once ready for an actual approval, I can find some discussion history on similar builds and try to establish a precedent on the matter.

Overall the hard pieces appear to be very much in the ballpark of what we're looking for and I definitely look forward to seeing the costume with the soft pieces, we'll have another great Revan to display in our family. :)
