I actually found the material at a discount fabric store called "Marshals", here in Edmonton, Alberta. I was pretty lucky otherwise it would have been alot of sewing to get the 'ribbed' look.

yes it is ribbed and doubled layered. So it is ribbed on both sides, does it look ok?
