    Well, real life got in the way...

     

    But I´m back on track now, got my new boots today, finished the wimple and tomorrow the dress will be finished too (or so I hope)

     

    My lightsaber is being worked on right now, found another vendor since I can´t wait until next year - and I think, that he will make a wonderful and very unik piece ;)

    So, this week I received both my head piece and my belt from the US... and they are both beautiful and very well made ;)

     

    Sadly I had to go to football camp with my two boys for 3 days, so I didn´t get anything done, but the boys had fun... hopefully I will be able to get the dress and wimple made in a couple of days...

    Good question - at first sight : it looks fine for me but it´s not easy to see on the pic.

     

    My outerdress is made out of a more stiff leatherette and it get´s very hot...

    My belt is finished and is on it´s way... the headpiece is also almost ready, so I need to get the last things in order to get everything done now.

     

    It´s been a long wait - but I know, that it is worth it.

     

    My lightsaber will be custom made in october ´14... ;)

    Yes the problem with people not knowing this figure and kids getting scared, is also something that my friend has with his Nihilus ;)

     

    But indeed it is a really nice costume ...

    I would really like to carry on, on this. My Garrison said talk with the DL so here I am.

     

    I am guessing the flatter shoes are better, but would really like to know before I take either one back.

     

    I also went ahead and bought the fabric, and would like to keep going.

     

    Please any DL let me know if I am heading in the right direction before i go on.

    In CRL the belt reads:

    The strap is made of matte black leather and is about 7.5 cm wide

    THIS IS EACH BELT??

    ie the total width of the belt is 22.5 cm???

     

    No the belt is about 7,5 cm wide and the silver rectangles are about 2,5 tall and divided in 4 :wink:

     

    And about the closure - I do hope, that it is acceptable, since we can´t make it without one, and this way, the buckle will be hidden.

    Hi and welcome

     

    I´m in the making of Darth Traya to right now, and I have asked about the belt too.

     

    Since the ref. pics are from the game more or less, and we can´t make it as it is drawn - it is acceptable to have a closure on the back with an overlap like on Darth Mauls belt like the pic here. Note that it is a Darth Maul belt, not a Darth Traya belt ;) or with an overlap with velcro.
