  1. My Mynock-Mask has some small padding on top and besides at the cheeks. I have attached just one strap which goes right over my ears around my head.

    Sits really good.

The bigger mask has attached an insert from an welding helmet. Works great.

I wear the baclava just under the mask.

  2. I would use acrylics over enemal. This down to a ratio of about 10 drops clear water with 2 drops colour, maybe three.

You can use the liquid you get, cleaning your brushes during model kit building.. :))

Or try with watercolours. You can wash them away and reapply them without any troubles.

Use a mix of 2 pieces black with one piece brown to create a realistic look.

  3. I found this fabric during a short and not scheduled visit in a store near frankfurt/germany...

I have absolutely no clue about correct Name and/or vendor.

go to a local fabric store and just ask for a wool for a robe and speify the costuming purpose.

Sorry I cant help you more.

  4. Thanks for the Kind words.

I plan to suit up tomorrow to see what else I need to work on.

Maybe I can take some pics to Show off...

I want to make the approval-pics saturday.... depending on the sleeves.. :))

Can`t wait to become a SL.... :fu:

  5. I had the chance to work on the boots/ boot armor. Using velcor, finally did it.

Nothing is touchuing the ground during walking. No noises. I don`t like noise walking with my armor.

I did the second mask as well. The new one is shorter around the chin area and I am looking forward to get to know how it will work with the armor on. With the first mask I was not able to nod because of the chin parts touching my chest armor. The new mask is shorter and will allow more movement with my head.

We`ll see how it will be.

Next up: Suit up with all the parts to check if the sleeves have to be shortened or not. Hopefully not, I don`t want to....

PS: Anybody got an idea how I can get rid of the fluff of my new robe?
