  1. I did 6-8hours in my Acolyte as well as in my Scout trooper. Drink a lot.. rest your time and your good to go.
  2. That is actually a really nice costume you`ve done there. I have had the Chance to inspect at a event and it was awesome. Who is this really good looking and handsome Kashyyyk Trooper at the pic?
  3. Hello everybody, don`t know where to post this, I am searching the Fllagship Eclipse Logo as a vectorized grafic. Any help is appreciated.
  4. I used JB Weld. But you can use any 2k Epoxy for that. Just grind the surface a bit for the glue to attach. Lay down the strap (about 1" Long) and pull down with some pressure. Let cure overnight.
  5. My Mynock-Mask has some small padding on top and besides at the cheeks. I have attached just one strap which goes right over my ears around my head. Sits really good. The bigger mask has attached an insert from an welding helmet. Works great. I wear the baclava just under the mask.
  6. Yes, as you can see on that opic, I have velcro on my chest and velcro on the inside of my robe. I attached velcro at the top of the mask and inside the hood to keep it where it belongs.
  7. I just got the information that I got approved... Now, I am a Sith Lord..... That is so awesome....
  8. My approval pics should be submitted now... Looking forward to get any information about it.
  9. Just got the answer from my GMO, he will submit shortly, maybe today.
  10. Thanks for the Explanation. I think he simply did not submit it yet. I sent him pics of armor only without robe so my pics should be quite complete. Looking Forward to get any reactions..
  11. Ohh, OK. I sent my approval to my germany GMO. He told me that he wil submit to the international approval team. Just for clarification, what would be the procedure for this?
  12. Hello.. thanks for the words.. No, nothing since I sent the approval in. But I am patient...... even this is not typical sith nature.. I will keep you informed.
  13. First trooping saturday... the armor worked well, and we did a nice walking act, Malgus and me..
  14. No, just use water and add some drops of dish washing soap or windows cleaner... For big parts to wash, its not needed imO. Just mix some blacks with a tad brown and thin down a bit more. You`ll see when its OK. Just try with a not importand part.
  15. I would use acrylics over enemal. This down to a ratio of about 10 drops clear water with 2 drops colour, maybe three. You can use the liquid you get, cleaning your brushes during model kit building.. Or try with watercolours. You can wash them away and reapply them without any troubles. Use a mix of 2 pieces black with one piece brown to create a realistic look.
  16. As I promised.... the approval pics. I sent both masks because I want them both approved. Actionshots: Hope you like it.
  17. I actually want to take pictures for approval today. They will be sent this evening I guess. I will show off....
  18. I found this fabric during a short and not scheduled visit in a store near frankfurt/germany... I have absolutely no clue about correct Name and/or vendor. go to a local fabric store and just ask for a wool for a robe and speify the costuming purpose. Sorry I cant help you more.
  19. Thanks for the Kind words. I plan to suit up tomorrow to see what else I need to work on. Maybe I can take some pics to Show off... I want to make the approval-pics saturday.... depending on the sleeves.. Can`t wait to become a SL....
  20. I had the chance to work on the boots/ boot armor. Using velcor, finally did it. Nothing is touchuing the ground during walking. No noises. I don`t like noise walking with my armor. I did the second mask as well. The new one is shorter around the chin area and I am looking forward to get to know how it will work with the armor on. With the first mask I was not able to nod because of the chin parts touching my chest armor. The new mask is shorter and will allow more movement with my head. We`ll see how it will be. Next up: Suit up with all the parts to check if the sleeves have to be shortened or not. Hopefully not, I don`t want to.... PS: Anybody got an idea how I can get rid of the fluff of my new robe?
