How is your build going? Do you have any pictures of recent progress?
I’m looking forward to seeing updates!

I was curious if you ended up getting the files. If so, have you started printing anything?
inhave very limited experience working with 3d printed materials— just my FOTK blaster— but I’m looking forward to seeing how it works for you!

Hi Andrew, I just replied to your other thread. How's the build going? Any pics?

Hi! I'll give you some feedback on some of your questions to try to help you out a bit.
Armor- I have Wolfgang's armor and I really like it. The build went smoothly. I have a friend who has resin armor from Mynock's Den, and it is also great looking armor! (He's on the left, I'm on the right)
Mask- I troop in an early version of Mynock Den's mask with no backing. I also have a mask from Wolfgang but it was too big. (He has two sizes and I believe I ordered the small, so I was surprised by that.)
Neck Seal- I have a heavy (vinyl?) one from Wolfgang. I also have a light cloth one that I got from someone (?) on the 501st forum a long time ago, but I dont troop it.
Gloves- I use these FIrm Grip gloves I got from Home Depot.
Robe- haha- I can't sew, and I made my acolyte before folks started selling them, so my mom made my robe for me from a modified jedi robe design.
Belt pouches and belt- my belt is made of tan webbing and the pouches are nylon latex glove pouches. I wish they were a bit larger, but they work alright.

Boots- I use some tactical boots from Big 5 that come just above my ankle. I didn't want anything too high that I would have to squeeze into the shin armor. Response Gear Tactical Footwear- Deputy.

I believe the CRL model is wearing Wolfgang's armor.

Looking great! Thanks for sharing your pics.

That's a good question! I decided to go with a darker color since that matched the reference images I was using better. I was also getting help from another new Acolyte and I liked how his armor looked, so I decided to use the same dark paint he used: Duplicate Color Perfect Match Dark Shadow Gray.
(I tried posting a few pics but photobucket isn't being nice right now )
The CRL isn't super specific one way or another. Here's what the CRL says:
Must be painted a metallic grey that is weathered in a pattern consistent with the rest of the armor.

Can't wait to see them!

I also have his kit. Enjoy the build! I love trooping in this armor.
I ended up using black nylon glove duty pouches like these.

Looking good! Keep at it... This will look incredible once completed!

Looking good, keep at it! This is a fun costume to troop in- it's all worth it!

Congratulations on your approval!

That's looking really good! I can't wait to see the whole final outcome!

Toddo here. I was a member previously before my account vanished. In fact, I wrote the CRL for the Sith Acolyte. I'm back now as I'm about to make some updates to my own acolyte.
Best of luck and have fun with your acolyte!

Many congratulations on your armor and your approval!

That final version of the mask looks great.

Yes im would like to make an A Sharad Hett
Cool! I don't know much about the Tusken Raider costume. Will this be a new build for you or will you somehow modify your current DZ?
I like your TKID number 50117. It combines two of my favorite things: the 501st and Halo (the Master Chief is Spartan 117)
Good luck on your build!

Hi from California USA. Are you interested in building a costume in TFE? If so, which one?

Very nicely done! Looks GREAT!!! CONGRATS on your recent approval!
Thanks a lot! I know you and I were both looking at the Acolyte for a long time. Did you ever buy or build it? Or did you move in a different direction?
Hi there. I'm actually still working on my build. It's going much slower than I'd like, as I've been working on other costumes first, & my parent's health has taken a DRASTIC change for the worse! I'm currently caring for them full time, so it's hard to find time to work on any of my builds right now. I've gotten much of my gear from Mynock, as his stuff is AMAZING! I've still got a number of pieces to get from him, mainly the leg armor, boot armor, & ab piece. I've also commissioned to have the robe made, but as I have them currently working on 4 other projects for me, she hasn't had time to start on this for me yet. I'll get there eventually, just not as quickly as I'd like!
I'm sorry to hear about your parents but it's really amazing that you are looking after them. May the force be with you all!
Mynock's armor looks incredible. I am sure it will look amazing when it is all completed. Do you have a build thread? I'd love to see how it goes, even if it is a slow process.
Take care!

Cool! I really enjoyed this build. I think I still have a lot of my reference pics saved on my computer so let me know if I can help at all.

I wish my pouches were a little bigger to hold small items. That’s a good idea.
Your robe looks nice! You may want to raise the sleeves a little so more of your forearms show. And perhaps try to adjust it so we can see more of your chest armor.
Keep up the good work!
