[Yet another NW Florida Mara Jade]

The Choices of One suit is cool. I might have to look into experimenting with my laser and craft foam to make those shoulder pads. I was working on the green suit ones. I have those almost done. Still working on getting my foam skills up. I just finished a blacksuit harness for a friend.

[Mara Jade Harness questions/WIP]

So I'm working on several laser cut kits for Mara Jade. I have the harness almost done. I'm making a prototype for a friend but looking to put these into production. So I have a few questions on the design.

 

 

Here is a shot of the almost complete piece. The bit in question is the raised center bit with the notches in it. Most of the costumes I have seen are using something a lot taller. However the reference I have looks thinner.

 

 

Is it just a case of preference or am I missing a reference for it?

 

Its laser cut MDF so I can layer it and have the straps actually anchored into the piece.

 

 

I'm also working on a holdout blaser kit. The prototype is done but I have a lot of adjustments to make.
