Someone get that man a rad saberstaff, STAT!
Nice progress!

Awesome progress!
Did you ever make a mold of the respirator?

I'm out of it for a little while and posts like this pop up...
This looks awesome, man. Absolutley fantastic. I've wanted to do a Malgus for some time, and still have packages of EVA foam lined up to do it. This entire post is inspiring and looks like a great reference for when I'm finally able to start my own.
Have you made any other progress since June?

I can't decide if I want to get this armor going for a Sith Acolyte, or a Jedi Knight.
Regardless, anyone know who's making armor kits for Acolytes these days?

CRAZY detail! Well done!

On a different note..........
The boots arrived
Aright, where did you get those boots...?
33 days later...
Darren!
Shoes?
Where get you them!?

Agreed. I've got the Malice, and the pommel is close but not quite there yet. That cowling really bring it home.

I think an arguement could be made for the specific members of Havoc Squad who did defect to the Imperial side to be done for the 501st, but that would be just the 4 (or 5, it's been too long since I've played to remember exactly) named face characters who defected. The Havoc squad guys in the trailers on the other hand, didnt' defect and remain with the Republic, just like the player character and NPCs that are added to Havoc Squad as you play TOR.
Yeah, those 5 guys who defect are all of "Havok Squad" at that time, minus the player character. So if you styled the armor after one of those guys, you'd have a good argument for the 501st Legion. The squad is small, just those 5 (replaced by the 5 you recruit along the way) so outside of them there really aren't any more OFFICIALLY.

_Jaster":e3xv21ks]Looks good mate, what material you use for the robe?
Thanks! I think it turned out really nice. I used a waffle weave fabric, originally two sets of shower curtains. It was just barely enough fabric....
...aw that's just BRILLIANT.

I hae been watching this thread with great interest. Your work and ideas on how to build the costume seem to be something that I can do, and look forward to any WIP pics of your costume as they develop.
Malgus needs to be made, man.
Starkiller TIE Training Gear Belts - Slide
in Starkiller
Posted
Working on a Starkiller costume for my stepson, and I'm a bit confused about some of the hardware for the belts...
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I don't get what the CRL means by "slide clasps". What I look up and find online don't look like they belong, or make sense with how belts work.
Are these just metal loops that go around the belt that leather is tucked through like these?
Or are these actual two-piece sliding clasps like these?
When you look up "Slide clasps" on Google, you get the 2nd hardware. The first image is of a "metal belt keeper".
Clarification, anyone?
