I did. I found a crappy Halloween aviator cap and used it as my base pattern. I made a dummy one out of fabric first so could make adjustments as needed then used that as my main pattern. My real cap is made out of pleather from walmart.

That's a great idea, thank you! I'll give it a shot. Where did you find your goggles? I saw some on Amazon but I haven't been able to tell how strict they are with approvals on them.

Hello! I'm very excited to finally start the process of becoming 501st! I'm looking to do Doctor Aphra and start with the Red Vest A version. I've been going through forums looking for resources, but any additional info would be great!
