  1. CRL photo along side of WA

As a GML and a non GML I'm of two minds here.. The first mindset is that looking at the CRL photo and the photo you provided I would say no. However the non GML in me wonders if this truly matters. This part of the costume is covered by your cape. I would better understand if this was for a second level approval to be more accurate. But this is just my opinion.

You could install snaps into the balaclava and onto the 3 straps near the actual mask. This should reduce movement.

Great idea. Never thought of that. I shall try that. Thank you.

What I have seen on Revens and Sith Accolytes is like a T...there is an elastic strap that wraps around the back of the head, just above the ears from each temple side of the mask and then another elastic strap coming from the top center of the mask which is sewn on to the other strap in the center. Hope this makes sense and that it helps

That i show mine is but it slips to either side during the troop making me have to straighten it up. Wanting something that don't do that. But with that said I do not have mine sewn. Maybe I'll try that. Thanks

Velcro on the inside of the forearm and sewn onto your shirt works.

That's what I was thinking but wanted to see if there was a better option. Thanks for the reply.

My costume is packed and behind several walls of boxes while I reorganize my house and garage, but I will try to get one as soon as I can.

Copy and thank you. Anyone else that can help with this photo, please?

I used sticky velcro on the mask about an inch above the brow, and sewing velcro on the seam of the inside of the hood.

Do you have a photo I maybe able to use as a guideline please and thank you.

I used gorilla glue and just scuffed the two surfaces up a bit for the strap.

For the ring straps, I went and got some black pleather from Joann Fabrics

Just like a yard of fabric or pleather strap?

  8. Got my Revan in from WA last night. Did a quick take it out of the box and put it on to fanboy a little. Now A few questions:

What's the best way to glue boot strap, E6000?

Need to find straps to replace ring holders at bottom of armor, best place?

How is the best way to mount the hood as that thing is a beast?

  9. I am about to embark upon a journey of streetlights, people, living just to find emotion, or a Revan build.

I have ordered from WA and should be shipping to me in mid Jan.

Didn't order greeblie pack so I think I still need to make the "leather" between the armor.

Need boots, have balaclava and gloves.

Looking forward to being part of the Flagship crew.

  10. Hello all!! I am scottdm62 TK/BH 62000 from Bloodfin!! I am very interested in joining up as Revan. Seeing the cost it looks like something that will be around tax return.

I've been a member of the 501st since January of this year. So I a lot of regards I'm still new. I have to date around 20 troops in my TK and 1 in my BH this past weekend. I enjoy the heck out of this. Seeing the smiles of the people and knowing we made someone's day on one of the three hospital troops I've been blessed to be a part of really brings peace to my heart.

Well that's me. I'm on the look out for Revan armor I can afford that is passable by our CRL standards. Thank you for your time and may the Sith Lords bless you!!!

Well it looks like now I am going another way for my next costume. Apparently my Father's Day gift this year is Shadow Trooper Armor. Maybe next year for my sith. Happy and sad at the same time.
