So here are the best pics I was able to get of the boots. I did lighten up the image to get a better look of them. In my opinion they remind me of the style of boots that are approvable for Darth Maul, a pair motorcycle boots with the shift pad across the top of the boot. It’s unclear about the heel from the pics I have.

Thank you for necromancing this thread. Also in my opinion the sleeves are smooth and blouse at a separate from form fitting gloves, ribbed gauntlet. Seeing that the sleeves are form fitting to the biceps I figure that they are a cotton knit material like those of a turtle neck.

  2. What about this one? 0a869142242375305fb49b1ebe9da457.jpg17f3a45ce4fbba405286053034b518d0.jpg

That one looks good. If you can you can ask for raw silk or you can go with a cotton twill. The outer tunic is very much a black karate gi and they are made from a cotton/poly blend twill like the jumpsuit for the TIE pilots and reservists.

  3. All of Maul's approved forms fall under SLD, and is the same for all the animated Sith Lords who were in the movies before the shows.

Ok I just thought I would ask since some characters from the current animated shows as well as the comics have been put here. Thank you

  4. I was wondering where the Clone Wars version of Maul fall? Would it be here or in the SLD?

I am planning on building the Maul from CW s5 ep14-16 and since there is no CRL I want to know where to plant the seed.

  5. So for about a week now I have been working on the CRL’s for the Mandalorian Super Commando Grunts, both the Vertical and Diagonal hand print versions. Now my personal belief is that the the Deathwatch Mandalorians have been misplaced in the Detachment they are currently assigned. Only Jango and Boba are bounty hunters  and them being in BHG is appropriate. Yet the Clone Wars Mandalorians were grouped into BHG as well even though it was never stated that they were bounty hunters or not. Now since these characters are featured in the Clone Wars animated show they could be grouped into Flagship Eclipse because they are a canon character from an “Expanded Universe” source. Now I’m not saying that the character who are already assigned to BHG are to be moved but going forward the newly approved Mandalorians whether it be the Deathwatch Super Commandos or the imperial super commandos be placed in Flagship Eclipse. Since the characters I have been working on the CRL’s for have no posted CRL it could be easily done.
Now just in case this doesn’t go further in the Detachment switch I am posting these CRL’s to both the Bounty Hunters Guild and Flagship Eclipse Detachment forums. I am working on one of the costumes of the characters I have written the CRL (Diagonal hand print). Of course these will not be set in stone at first and will be up for review and revisions. Also who knows if there are any more people who have this costume so that there will be a visual reference or will the CRL list be a yellow tag with just the text waiting for a visual reference. I hope these will pass the muster for 501st standards.

  6. Oki  - many are not aware that the masks are different, but indeed, having both versions could be cool.

It’s only been within the last year that the CRL changed and the mask portion was updated to reflect the different styles between the two.

  7. No his app only has limited features but i just looked and it does have Jawa and tusken added. No sith lords and not sure if hes going to. Its a cool app as i have played with it for my clone but i have a few different costumes i can use it with

I was told it had a custom feature, is this true and can it be tweaked to sound like Nihilus?

  8. I don’t think he did. From all the pics I’ve seen he’s never finished the costume. From the waist up is all he has done. I’ve contacted him inquiring about the helmet but have not heard back.

  9. The cuff of the gloves that you have pictured are too short. The cuff of the gloves should end at mid forearm. You are going to want these gloves here, http://www.museumreplicas.com/p-49-leather-gauntlets.aspx?campaignid=915098131&adgroupid=42582017661&creative=217422876170&keyword=&gclid=Cj0KCQjwgIPOBRDnARIsAHA1X3TxhXINwbiApvuVmvQRu_gOzJ5pEhd5K1IADb3DueMidqCNYTbuL9AaAj0JEALw_wcB
These are the gloves I have for my Darth Nihilus.

  11. If you go to the Clone Wars section of Starwars.com, go to the Lost Missions episode section, find the one with toad and the whils that episode has Darth Bane in it. Remember he was voiced by Mark Hamil himself. If you go to the concept art section there is the 360 model of the Darth Bane there. I have it copied but it's on my computer at home and I am on my phone currently. If it's not posted here by the time I get how I'll post it.

  13. COTF was also approved before current 360 rules were implemented and was an amalgamation of the box art, the minifig, and the inaccurately referenced Sith Legends figure that used parts of COTF but was not COTF, especially with its shoulder bells and split skirt style when it was still a rule of 3 for references. Technically, there should not have been an approvable COTF given that none of the references actually match and were combined in parts to make a single costume.

I now know this after all the research I've been doing with the character. I've been having issues with approval because different people have different interpretations of the CRL.

  14. I see the differences in the details, though I'm not sure that they are worth a new costume vs. alternative options to the existing KOTOR II. It doesn't matter much though unless you can get a full 360 degree view of it, as the back is an unknown.

The back of the CotF version was unknown and it got through using the KOTOR II model. There really isn't too many differences but there are differences. One could easily make the costume and try to apply.
