I highly recommend Yaya Han's pattern. Having tried numerous, it's the only one that was both flattering and easy to work with. I talk about how I altered it here: http://withoutastitchon.blogspot.ie/2016/05/mara-jades-bodysuit.html
Thank you Eliste! That helps me a lot!

PROGRESS HAS BEEN MADE
I am so happy - having found the perfect fabric for my bodysuit. Will commission the suit to my seamstress soon! Only looking for a good sewing pattern to give to her along with the fabric.
Additionally I worked on the Belt, the cape and the cape buckle, which I did myself. Was the very first time for me and I am very proud of the result. It still needs some smoothing and coloring... The silver cape buckle in the picture is not mine. I took it as a model for my work. The left picture was taken for my Mara Jade Searm War version, which I did decide to not transmit to the Rebel Legion after all...

Not all the RL approvable Mara costumes are approvable with the 501st. Her green dress, for instance, is RL approvable but not 501st. I think really, it's "was she semi on the bad side when she wore it?" If yes, the 501st is a possibility. So I don't think this one would be.
Yes, I believe you re right! Sadly...
Thank you
I wish you wonderfull Christmas holidays and a happy new year

Hi Eliste and thanks for your reply
Yes, Mara is married to Luke at that point. I was just wondering, as the Rebel Legion approves the "emperors hand" Mara version, if the 501st does the same with the RL version.
Howevsr, I am currently doing both costumes.

Hello everybody,
I have a question concerning an other Mara Jade costume.
Currently, I am simultaniously working on two different Mara Jade costumes. The one already well known here (black bodysuit) and the other being the costume from swarm wars, which is approvable at the Rebel Legion.
MY QUESTION:
After finding out, that the 501st Mara costume can be approved in the Rebel Legion, I would like to know, if my Rebel Legion Mara Jade version can also be approved in the 501st. The existing CRL (or costume standard fod the Rebel Legion) could be applied.
Looking anxiously forward to your response,
Elena

Hello everybody,
from the beginning, I was planning to make a Mara Jade costume. As I am an absolut beginner in making costumes, I find myself approved as Crewman, TIE Reserve and Staff Officer. And now it is time to restart with Mara!
Goggles: I found these on Ebay, will they be approvable? I add a Mara reference picture.
These are the belt and the harness. The color should match that of the 501st crl. It turns out darker on the picture. My boots will be the same as for the Officer costume.

Hello,
my name is Elena. I live in Germany - close to Cologne - and once my costumes are ready, I will be a member of the German Garrison.
I have been a great Star Wars fan since my childhood. A few years ago I started to collect the books. Thats how I learned about Mara Jade. After being to some Events and having met members of the GG, I finally got startet on my own costumes. I have almost finished my Imperial Crewman. The next costume is going to be Mara Jade. I am really excited about starting on her costume.
Looking forward to getting into contact with you,
Elena
