Molde chest made

 

 

 

 

 

The molding process is as follows:

 

1 We take the reference in a female mold and placed inside part drawing or design armor if I had (as we see above)

 

2nd From the female mold make a male mold (both molds fit)

 

3rd between the two molds put the material to work (sintra or fiberglass) previously heated in the case of PVC padding.

 

4th hope the piece is made and remove the mold (the latter will serve us for many designs)

 

5th polishing, sanding and painting.

I was about to open a new thread, but seeing this and the work already done BedlamX, I would like to return to work to accommodate the character T.Skorr.

 

First, I made a pinterest with all references to the character, both in comics and action figure.

As you can see, we can observe from all angles and perspectives costume character. For me, it was easy to devote to it by the existing physical resemblance.

 

 

So I willing to work on it. First design the various pieces of armor, especially considering assembly.

 

The next step for me was to choose a suitable material and after consultation much, opt for Sintra.

 

 

Acquired Sintra, and the tools to work it, I am ready to face this project with the greatest of optimism and hope that this character can be added to the CRL and thus have a new "sith" with us.

 

 

I will keep you informed of all developments and would appreciate any help possible.
