The brown Tabard/vest? I actually got that from my buddy Bcarp, Brooks Carpenter, he sewed it for me. The Tunic I got from Twin Roses Designs. And thank you very much!

So! I got everything out together except the saber and I have to finish the pouches. Let me know what you guys think!

 

My belt kept sagging so I'll have to adjust it just a little bit but other than that it came out a lot better than I thought it would!

 

 

I love it! Now to put the finishing touches on and get this thing approved!

Now that the helmet is done, I have everything finished EXCEPT that pesky neck breather. I'm also still waiting on a couple more goodies to arrive in the mail.

 

I finished up the boots the other day

 

No all I have left to do is weathering and waiting!

More helmet work!!

 

 

I finished up the mask and it turned out wonderful! Then I took it and mounted it on an old skateboard helmet that I wasn't using anymore!

 

I had to cut off a little bit of the top of the mask to get it to fit properly but it fit!

 

The aluminum tape was just for good measure lol

 

So after that, I cut out a little hole on the foam that lined the helmet so I could put the braid in there with Velcro and take it out if I ever needed to

 

Then to the wrappings! I started by doing what all Tuskens do and add a little leather and a shell to the helmet

 

And then....

 

BOOM TUSKEN!

Now I know what you're thinking! Why the heck are those strands so long! Well, you see, I left them that long so that I put my helmet on first and then I'll put on the neck seal afterwards so all those long strands get tucked into the neck seal so it'll keep the helmet nice and sturdy and also keep any of my skin from showing! Woo! I'm so close to being done!

So! I finished dying the pants and they look great!

The color is perfect!

 

I got my mask from Dustin, dialswiftjustice, and I gotta say, it is one great kit! So far I've got the mouth wrapped with leather and tomorrow I'm hopefully gonna finish it up!

 

I tried handsewing my own vest buuuuuttt that ended pretty badly lol so I got this one guy, bcarp, Brook's Carpenter, to make me the vest, belt AND lightsaber. He makes the lightsaber from scratch and it comes out amazing! I definitely recommend him to anybody that needs an A'Sharad lightsaber.

 

I also have boots that still need wrapping, all I need now are the gloves and I'll have everything I need, it just needs to get put together!

Ah letting the beta slow me down was worth it! but now I'm back in the game! I got dye and I just finished cooking my pants!

Now I've just gotta wait for them to finish drying and check out how the color came out! I'm pumped!

 

Also, does anybody know where I can get a nice Jedi belt? Hopefully not too expensive?

Hey gang! I'm starting my next build and I'm excited to say it's A'Sharad!

 

So far I have ordered a Tusken mask from Dustin, the Poor Mans kit, and he said he's mailing them out this weekend! Super stoked for that! I also have my buddy making me real aluminum eye stalks, spikes, etc. which I'll use for a second helmet..

 

Along with ordering a mask, I went searching for pants!

 

Now, I found these:

 

I know, I know. A little bright, but I will dye them! (unless this color is ok)

 

Then whilst sitting around waiting for

I was thinking about where I could get boots.. Then I looked over at my closet that was slightly open and saw these bad boys!

 

Of course I'll have to take these silly buttons off:

 

But other than that... So far so good! I'm going to order my Jedi Tunic and go look for cloth that matches the pants next week. Stay tuned!!!
