[Black TK / TX shins for Mara Jade Approval?]

I'm working on my wife's Mara Jade costume and last year we ran into a 501st member in her Mara Jade costume and inquired about her shins. She was using Shadow Trooper (TX) shins (which are the same as TK just black) and said she was approved using these. I haven't been able to find any other references out there for this. Has anyone else out there been able to use these with success and approval?

Hello there, I have been a member of the 501st for a few years with the Golden Gate Garrison. So far I have a TK and am working on a Boba Fett. I am joining the flagship eclipse as I am interested in Darth Revan for myself and a Mara Jade for my wife. Looking forward to chatting with and meeting you guys.
