At long last, Stardew Valley update 1.6 will today be rolling out for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation, Xbox, and mobile devices. Following patch 1.6’s release earlier in the year on PC, those on consoles and mobile have been patiently waiting for the new content update for Stardew to come to their platform of choice. Now, that is finally happening today and creator Eric Barone has revealed the latest patch notes in advance of its arrival.

As of 10am PT/1pm ET, update 1.6 for Stardew Valley should begin rolling out for all platforms. Generally speaking, this version of patch 1.6 on consoles is the same as the one that was released earlier in the year. However, Barone notes that those on consoles are getting all subsequent updates for Stardew Valley that were released in the wake of update 1.6 coming to PC. To that end, a new update that is version 1.6.9 has rolled out for all editions of Stardew Valley and should bring the farming sim to parity with all versions.
