A'sharad Hett Braid

I'm working on A'sharad and realized I have no idea how to attach the braid.

Can anyone help?

I don't think it is limited to a specific method given that it goes to the helmet.

Since I'm going to have my Tusken helmet pull double duty for Hett, I was planning to leave one of the wraps loose and then attach the braid by sliding it underneath and using a couple snaps to attach it so that the braid won't pivot on just one point of attachment.
