Darth Revans lightsaber hilt(s) and boots

Hey guys,
I'm in the process of buying a Darth Revan costume thats acceptable for the 501st. I bought the Revan costume from Wickedarmor. My question is (and I know the answer will almost certanly be I need to buy another hilt) does the hilt need to be completly silver?

A few years ago I bought the lightsaberhilt from Saberforge and unfortunately I found it to be more cool looking in the weathered variant. I am probably not allowed to use that one right?

Mine: https://saberforge.com/collections/elite-sabers/products/fallen?variant=12866322399312 The correct one: https://saberforge.com/collections/elite-sabers/products/fallen?variant=27916026887

The other question I have regarding the hilts is: Would I need to use the same hilt twice if I were to portay his KOTOR II version or can I use his "reborn" (https://saberforge.com/collections/elite-sabers/products/reborn?variant=21266442846288) hilt? (Like in pretty much all the photos of him with his purple and red saber)

The last question I have is regarding the boots. First of all, would these boots fit the CRL? https://crowprops.bigcartel.com/product/revan-boots

And secondly, I want to be a bit taller so I am closer to Revans acual height. I talked to the manufacturer of the boot and he told me he could do these changes:" We can make you a 2 inches tall sole and add you a hidden internal lift of 2 more inches." Would that violate the CRL?

Thank you for any answers! I'm sorry if these questions sound dumb but I'm really new to this stuff so I just need a bit of help with the start. :)

It needs to match the approved references for the hilt. You can see options for that here:

Thank you for your help.

Do you think the two inch high soles would be a problem? The CRL only states that the heels need to be low. Sole=heel?

The soles should very much match the conservative heel and should not be more than like, 1/4-1/2 inch thick at most. Anything over that is considered platform.

So I'm well on my way of being accepted into the 501st. (first GMO approved the costume)

But I have a "quality of life" question if you will. Do you have an idea where to put the lightsaber clip? I though about using velcro and putting it somewhere onto the side of the armor but I'm really quite unsure if that will work.

Not having a belt really sucks in that regard.

Thanks for any help!

Crazy option is to sew magnets in your skirt and clip it there. so it's not seen as a clip, but the hilts gettin hold by it

Hey a fellow German Revan. I don't believe it🤯😂

I'm not sure if magnets could hold the saber. It's pretty heavy.

😀never enough Revans here, espacially from germany.

Yeah, don't know, if it could work, just saw it at another Revie.

My idea was to put a covertect clip at the belt thats holding my skirt. but insted of puttin it visible, i would try to pu the clip under the fabric, cut a lil hole in it and then i have an clip, but its not affecting the look.

i'll write it down in german again, caus my brain is weird in english :D

Yeah that sounds like an idea. The thing is that this this dude:

managed to clip the saber to the armor and I don't have a clue how.

Gibt es eigentlich sowas wie ne deutsche Revan Gruppe wo man sich noch ein paar Tipps holen kann?😄

(Schreibe hier lieber Englisch damit andere mitlesen können)

It looks like he has a clip for the saber, that he puts on by sliding it downwards onto the abdomen armor piece (red circle)
Not sure if it is possible without some mods to it ?

I suspected that that was the place where he attached the clip to. In my case I can't fit the clip under it. I'd need to get some space between the armor piece and the clip. I'm not sure how that's possible without breaking stuff.
