Kylo - mid coat.. needed?

G'day troopers,

I noticed some kylos are getting approved without the full midcoat for Kylo, as only the mid coat's flaps at the bottom and top neck collar are seen in some scenes of TFA when he is walking. Some people have been simply sewing the midcoat's top collar and bottom flaps to the inside of their outer robe, so to not have the full length midcoat, thus cutting down on unnecessary layers.

Just wanted to ask if doing things that way is okay? Do we have to have to full midcoat, even though it's not seen in TFA?

The CRLs says a midcoat is needed, but I heard they were going to update it to just needing the collar and bottom flaps.. can anyone confirm this?

If I submit approval photos showing the full costume with outer robe with midcoat flaps/collar, is that enough? Obviously I'll have the under tunic with pleats too.

Thanks for your help.

Hello sir! Yes we purposefully wrote it to where you could fake it. a good example is Anakins (Pre-armor vader) inner tunic. while it doesnt say you have to make the whole thing it only describes the parts you can see, so what you do with your interpretation is up to you
