Soft parts question

What material in normally used for the robes and cape?

I use Wool .. some use merino wool but it is expensive.  I tend to stay away from  soft fabrics as it makes them look like a is not a proper uniform but  more of a fancy  dress. or some thing purchased for the 31st of  October

Wool, Cotton, Muslin, and my personal favorite monks cloth.

Oh my monks cloth...  That sounds warm,  I have a monks cloth outer robe on my tusken I think for this I will try to not go so heavy.  Thank you for the feeback btw Joann's has their 60% off coupon online right now.
